    horrible, poor quality materials, never on time, and did not complete job in expected timeline proposed by contractor. When feedback on the work was given he suggested that a change order or indicated a very high price. His contractors asked for money to pay for supplies which was not discussed.

    Zero Stars-Construction Scam artist: Brant Fiscus Fiscus Construction 830-310-2709 Austin and San Antonio beware! Most recent and Final update: Of course after the review below Brant reaches out to say that he is going to bring me the money owed on Thursday 7/18 and during our conversation via text and phone we make the suggestion that he send it via Zelle. He asks if he can send $250 Monday and the rest Thursday. Clearly this means he never meant to pay the complete amount off to begin with, but since I felt like there was an honest chance of him issuing the funds we agreed. Brant can't spell my name so his payment doesn't go through. He even sends me pictures trying to say that it is where I point that out, then he goes silent. Resumes the next day saying that his original $350 is locked up and his bank can't release it back. My wife and I have done this several times, but whatever, let's get the other half on Thursday... More lies: Thursday comes and nothing but I'm not worried because now we are in the hospital having the baby. Mind you this is now 5 weeks since he last set foot on my property. The original deposit was written to him on June 6! This is August 20 for those paying attention. Txt him again yesterday, no response, today he says he's sending it later today and after several follow ups, nothing. If you know this person watch your pocketbook, and be aware he's probably scamming you too. If you don't, avoid Fiscus Construction like the plague. I have never seen someone who will take advantage of a pregnant, hard working family at anytime in my life until now. I feel sorry he is apprenticing another kid and teaching him these values. I have legal insurance he can deal with them from now on, the DA will be recontacted on Monday. Since some research already shows this looks like another offense, hopefully there are consequences that keep him from preying on others. Update 1: After posting my review and subsequent update I was contacted via text message and phone by Brandt offering return of my last deposit and promising money order to be dropped on the mail last Wednesday. Today I received a follow up text message asking if I was going to be home Wednesday so he could drop it off! This is a solid week after his original commitment and over 1 month since his last visit to my house. Let's play Jeopardy:When you say you're going to do something and you don't do it it's called? When you take someone's money in exchange for work it's called what? Avoid this company. I've already contacted the District Attorney's office who advised me to give him the chance to repay and let them know if he didn't.     I've worked with John to build my projects for 4 years, and during that time I haven't hired any other residential general contractors. He's worked with the same great subcontractors for many years, and has been in the business so long that he knows how to get anything completed. It's important to my business when I recommend a contractor to a client that they perform, meet their deadlines, are budget conscious, trustworthy, reliable and able to communicate effectively with everyone as that recommendation is a reflection on my business also. Over the past decade he's better than every other residential contractor I've worked with so I recommend him to anyone wanting to remodel, add on or build new.

    Very well. Weather and inspection delays slowed the project down some, but the finished project is beautiful and doesn���t look like an add-on at all! Mr. Hammet and his subs do quality work and they were always willing to do the extra jobs that we came up with during the construction. The job was finished within the budget (plus the extra stuff we requested). We are very happy with their work.

    Terry Laney, exceeded the initial cost estimate he gave us by more than double on a cost-plus contract. He was never on site to supervise the work but instead sublet the work to subcontractors who were all substandard with the work they produced. We had several jobs that needed redoing. This not only delayed the project but even after we moved in (4 months after the promised completion date), we lived in a home filled with workers and dust for months on end. He issued a warranty letter for the work done valid for a period of one year, but negated on the same. His company is not to be trusted.

    Atlas Green Homes
    Do not hire Thomas Atlas or Atlas Green Homes. Google his alias: Manoocher Rowshan. I hired him for a whole-house renovation for a cost of $86,000. After about a month of somewhat consistent work, his crew was only present one or two days a week, and were absent for several weeks at a time. The few times I did see them working on the house, I found discarded beer cans (including an empty 24-pack) and smelled alcohol on the crew. The quality of work was very poor and most of it has to be redone, including many expensive repairs to electrical, plumbing, and house-leveling because he did not hire subcontractors that were licensed for this work. When I fired him, after overpaying him by about $26,000, not including the cost of work that has to be redone, he filed a fraudulent lien on my house in the amount of $100,000, well above our contract amount. I am still litigating this, and meanwhile, my house cannot be occupied.

    Our experience with Premier was absolutely horrific. Our dream home project was turned into a total nightmare and we've regretted hiring Jason and Premier since six months after the project began. We've suffered damaged to finish materials, we spent hundred of unplanned hours having to check the work of the trades, we lost more than $100k in finance fees as a result of delays in the project, we've spent countless hours disputing charges that were incurred without prior approval, only to end up paying most of them in order to close on the house and put an end to the terrible experience, and after two weeks of living there we found a major leak that put water into our lower floor. After 6 months of trying to get Premier to honor their warranty, they sent us a note saying we should file with our insurance and we've been left with a ceiling ripped out, concrete floor (carpet ripped out), our tile patio has tiles ripped out with more than 35 tiles needing to be reinstalled, no safety rails on our upper patio outside of our kid's playroom (we've asked numerous times for Premier to do something and they've done nothing ��� actually told us if we wanted something done we needed to pay for it ourselves), a barricade on our back patio that blocks off a section of our space, stucco walls ripped open, stones removed from the bottom of feature walls and more. This is what we've been left with to fix ourselves. We have paint issues all over the house (according to the paint company these are a result of their painter's methods) and were recently told by Kristy, an inexperienced project manager on our project, we will need to hire other painters at our cost if we don't believe their painters can do the work. I highly recommend checking real references and doing your due diligence before choosing Premier or working with anyone from this company. Check with your attorney on legal action against Premier and you'll see we're not alone. After we started to realize what was happening, we did more research and talked to several other clients, recent clients, and each person we talked to had the same story: lack of oversight (despite us paying them close to $300k in builder fees), lack of quality control (they'll tell you they simply trust the trades to do what they say they will do), lack of follow through (everyone had a similar experience when it came to Jason's ability to get the house finished and everyone was left holding a long list of incomplete items), etc. If you're considering Premier, feel free to reach out to us (adzoot114@yahoo.com) and we can share photos and other fully documented proof of our experience so it's clear this isn't just an opinion. I've included a few photos below, including the letter we were sent about their plan not to finish the repair of the leak (they've since said they are filing a claim with their insurance but given no proof and no action has been shown including nothing done ability the safety issues that have gone unaddressed for months) but we have hundreds more. We cancelled several very special events we had planned as a direct result of the embarrassment of the state of our house (hard to make a barricade wrapped in yellow caution tape look good when people come to see the house we spent over four years creating), we've suffered unimaginable stress and impact (far more than we ever imagined) and unfortunately it continues even today as we are forced to hire another attorney to try and force Premier to finish our house. Important to note that we have paid in full for all the work that remains incomplete including, what we believe, we inaccurate and improper charges.

    Old School Builders LLC
    Both buildings were built to high standards as if they were permanent dwellings. Because the project was extensive, sub contractors were also used and those were sort of hit and miss. But Old School builders did a fantastic job of communicating, keeping their promises, and performing the work in a professional manner. I would definitely recommend them and I will use them again on my next project.
