  • They are a good group a family members who have been working together for years. They did a fair amount of demolition and had to rebuild the bathroom from the studs. It was formerly a 50 sf bath that became 97 sf after part of an unused hall was incorporated. Everything new was installed, including a sink, cabinet, tub, shower, flooring and tile. Turned out beautiful. This is an old-school crew of workers who will want you to pick the items out at the store or order online. They have trucks to go get what you pick out and will tell you how much flooring or tile to buy, but you will have to come up with the design you want. I liked working that way since it made it less expensive and I was able to get what I wanted done without dealing with a designer or head contractor.

  • In October of 2014 we began our home Provider name locked. in the South Provider name locked. Area because we were relocating from Virginia. After several long weekends (shopping long-distance), we settled on a home by Treat Oak Homes (Provider name locked. )... (the builder is Provider name locked. ).  We purchased the home over more than 50 other homes we had seen for many reasons...the back yard was not on a slope (it was usable), it was the size of the house we wanted, the price was great and we were told by the realtor representing Provider name locked. that there was a great warranty included.

    Boy-were we mislead!  PLEASE...buyer beware!

If could press a "reset" button, I would.  This home and the builder have been a major pain.  And, come to find out from others in our neighborhood who also live in Provider name locked. 's, they have had the same or similar experiences.

    WHERE TO BEGIN?

The builder (Provider name locked. ) is so hard to deal with.  He does not have great subcontractor either.  The house was a mess when we moved in.  Coming from a distance, we were not able to be here daily to watch the end of the construction.  I spend so much time (more than 12 hours) cleaning construction debris from INSIDE my home.  The floors had paint on them and there was a mess left by the crew.  We did inform the builder (and the realtor, Provider name locked. , who represented them) that there was a mess left just a day before and we were assured it would be cleaned before closing...it was not. I was then told I would be compensated for my time cleaning...I never received a dime for my time.

We are about 6 months into living in the house and our 30 punch list (along w/ items we informed them about before closing...so make that 8 months to get things done) well... it still isn't done.  Provider name locked. fixes...not fixed.  Larger problems...not done.  Repeated phone calls and e-mails not returned.  Appointments made then broken.  I was then given a list and told to call the contractors myself...only to have them NOT return calls or keep appointments.  Several "repairs" have to be revisited b/c they were not done correctly the 1st or second or third time.  This is getting OLD-really fast!

Examples:  The grout in the master bath is cracking.  Tile that was to be replaced was...but they used different grout...so my brand new home already has 2 colors of grout...soon to be 3.  They said last time they were out they could match the colors...but it would cost me.  Really?  It's under warranty! They will not re-grout the entre bathroom b/c they "think" they can match the grout.

Five trips out by the glass repair shop to replace 3 windows...because they didn't have the right ones...they had some new ones installed but it was worse than the first one being replaced...they forgot one of the windows...should I keep going?  That is 5 days waiting to get repairs.

AND NOBODY FROM Provider name locked. EVER CAME TO WAIT ON THEM...THEY LEFT ME DO TO IT.

MY YARD KEEPS FLOODING.  WE HAVE BEEN HERE 6 MONTHS AND WE HAVE NEVER BEEN ABLE TO USE THE YARD BECASUE IT DOESN'T DRAIN.  I HAVE A SWAMP IN THE BACK.  THE BIGGEST REASON FOR SELECTING THIS HOUSE WAS FOR THE YARD...AND MY KIDS CAN'T USE IT AT ALL.  They keep telling me they will fix it.  When? 2020?

We have had problems with improperly wrapped pipes.  They won't fix it. We have had problems with improperly sealed vents from the attic.  They fixed ONE and left the rest for us to do.  We have had issues w/ our appliances.  We have had issues w/ our locks.  We have had issues with not having keys to unlock our bathroom doors...and told we can just use a screw driver to unlock the doors.  Guess what...screw drivers don't work on them. I had to Provider name locked. out a neighbor w/ a Provider name locked. and get a key from them b/c we didn't have any! The list goes on and on. I could spend an hour on this review.

Now-I understand new homes have kinks...this is our 7th home.  This is also the most horrible experience to date. They FAIL in the returning calls, e-mails, keeping appointments, etc. areas.

Needless to say-I would never buy another Provider name locked. and tell everybody I see not to buy one.  We have had to repair some of these things ourselves.  We have spent a lot of $$ trying to be assured that this house is fixed.  Provider name locked. and Provider name locked. could care less about any buyer once they have their money.

Provider name locked. and Provider name locked.  have build around the Provider name locked. , Texas area in neighborhoods but now are concentrating on custom built homes (so I am told by the foreman)...so please be aware-YOU DO NOT WANT A HOME BUILDBY Provider name locked. !

  • . Promise still made almost weekly and never delivered.  We purchased a custom home in October of 2013 to be delivered in April -May of 2014.  We moved into the home in August of 2014.  It is now April of 2015 and there is still a punch list a mile long of things that are undone.  Again and again I have been told someone is coming to take care of these matters so i reschedule appointments and take days off work only to have no one show up and no one answer the phone when i call the office.
Oh- and these arent little things.  I have shower tiles dissolving,  I have major items in the kitchen unfinished.  I have broken roof tiles I suspect are letting water leak in.  Yet, the builder does nothing.  Apparently, this is par for the course as most people on the street report the same issues.  The homes look lovely but RUN don't walk.  It will never be finished.
