  • My initial contact with Provider name locked. at Provider name locked. was very positive.  He gave me a price to dig my ditches.  It seemed as though he was trying to fit my job around other projects and I could never get a solid date the job would be performed.  On April 28, 2015, I received an email from Provider name locked. that said if all goes well he wanted to get his guys over to my house to dig the trenches.  I never heard back from him so I called on the evening of May 1 to verify if his team would arrive on May 2 to complete the job.  Provider name locked. returned my call at 8:08am on Saturday, May 2, 2015 and told me that his guys were finishing up a job and they should be at my house by 11:00am and that he would call me when they were on their way.  I finally called Provider name locked. at 1:50pm and left a voicemail stating that noone has shown up and that I had some things to do and needed to move on with my day and that we would need to move the date but I needed to get the job done and needed to get on a firm schedule.  He returned my call 2 minutes later and informed me that his team had already rented the trencher and that if it didn't happen today (May 2) that it would be a few weeks because he had two big jobs startting.  He then said that he had tried to get the job done several times before but I had never returned any of his multiple calls.  There were not multiple calls from him to me and I feel as though I was always just a "back burner" job and he would do it when he could get around to it.

I told him I would find another company to do the work.  If you have a small job, you are likely better off with someone another company.

  • Provider name locked. communicated with me often and via phone/email.  He was casual yet very professional.  I had already secured authorization from TXDOT (no City of Provider name locked. permit needed), but he also double-checked with them as well to ensure everything was compliant.  In the end, his supplier had a higher level grade of concrete available for my job and Provider name locked. was able to pass the saving on to me.  The work was flawless!  I wasn't on-site and managed the coordination and logistics from another state (I am an absentee business commercial owner).
Also, Provider name locked. followed up with a timely quote and covered the extent of the work to be performed.  I worked with over six other contractors who had a very, very hard time showing up, delivering OR inflating their prices.
You will be EXTREMELY happy with Dig Dug ....I know, I'm fairly thorough with these things and my business. Glad I found them on Angie's List...process before them was painful!

  • They scheduled this small job between their other larger jobs elsewhere.  Since time of service was not crucial for our project, this stop-gap project worked well for both of us.
