    Stain Concepts, LLC
Seriously don't even mess around with doing it yourself and hoping it turns out okay. I spent a little bit more coin and couldn't be happier with the results. These guys were fast, clean, and professional. The final product is night and day compared to anything you could buy at Home Depot and do yourself.

After reading stellar reviews on Morningstar Landscaping, I contacted Jodi because I am limited in my mobility due to back issues, but love and miss gardening. She came out for a consultation which was about 45 minutes, and had great ideas on building raised stone planters so I can comfortably sit and garden without hurting myself. Her crew was extremely respectful and cleaned everyday. Jodi definitely prides herself in her work, and seemed to really understand and care about my physical limitations. She educated me on what a Horticulture Therapist is, and come to find out, they offer more services than I knew. I had them install some outdoor lights and 2 electrical outlets in addition to the masonry work. She planted initial plants for now, because its still u predictable weather, but is coming back in the Spring to help me plant more, and teach me about the care. Jodi and her crew did a fantastic job, and were very caring people who also made me laugh for the duration of this project. Will use again for sure.

I have used this company before and had great results. Jodi and her guys did a wonderful job building a new pergola, painted it ( well, stained it), and made a new landscape bed from stone. They mulched it and added drip to the irrigation so its all ready for plants. They added an outlet to the back patio as well, which is now convenient. Will keep using them.

Moved to Austin but wanted to get a professional opinion on drainage and costs on a large renovation. Jodi met with me twice to see the property and go over several options. I took her recommendations to my realtor and was able to get the seller to pay for the drainage issues. I hired Jodi for the entire projects which included retaining walls, extend the patio and hardscaping, painting inside kitchen, touch up paint outside, epoxy, and minor carpentry repairs. The process thus far has been a delight and I'm very thankful to have met such an honest and professional contractor as her. Very excited about more future projects with this company.

Contacted Jodi to plant some trees, paint a large deck, and install a French drain. The stain she recommended looks amazing and the trees just started to bloom. Great job, great crew, highly recommend. Going to use her on phase 2 with a flagstone area and more plants.

Based on their great reputation we got in touch with Jodi to get a jump on Spring. She was very considerate of our needs, budget, and concerns. We really appreciated her in depth knowledge of plants, stone, and drainage. We decided to extend our current patio and stone it on top. They installed a French drain as well, and did quite a bit of painting and small fence repair and stain. We couldn't be happier with the results. This gives us a great outdoor and indoor living area that we can enjoy right away. And they gave us an excellent price on the painting so we had them freshen up our trim paint inside too since the exterior was so pretty. The epoxy in our garage looks very nice too. We have been saving for this phase for a long time and highly recommend them. Next phase we look forward to are more plants and some lighting and will choose them again.

Sales person (Rich) was very responsive during the quote process. However, The actual install was supposed to take 2 days. The technician apparently was double booked and had a very difficult time keeping to ANY sort of schedule, resulting in me having to leave my garage doors open while I ran various errands and went to appointments. The project was completed on the 3rd day and for the amount quoted. The floor does look very nice. If the technician would have had better time management, this could have been a home run for them.

    Garage Monkeyz
We first contacted  Garage Monkeyz in 2016 for some garage shelving above our garage doors.  Their "expert" Jaime came to our house and instead talked us into getting shelves attached to our ceiling below where the garage door rests when it is open.  We didn't think that would work because the overhead space would be limited by the doors when they were opened but Jaime insisted that it works well, so we trusted her.  The installer came out to install them, and put their supports too close to the supports for the garage doors.  There was no room for any bins because they would have to maneuver around both sets of supports.  We then had to call/write back to request to have them moved.  They were unresponsive and we had to reach out a few times.  Finally Jaime answered and said that she had been very busy and had migraine problems so was out for a while.  We tried to be sympathetic and understanding but it still took a while for Garage Monkeyz to come back to fix the problem. When they finally did, they unfortunately left the patched holes unpainted where they moved the supports so it is a bit unsightly still.  They also over tightened the new shelving so that there were significant cracks in the pressed wood shelving and we did not notice those until months later.  We sent pictures of the cracks in their shelving and Paul wrote a flippant response saying not to worry because the cracks were just cosmetic and not structural.  These cracks were very big and unsightly and I know they had to threaten the integrity of the shelves.
I insisted they come back out and fix the problem and they finally did but they acted like we were being a bit of a problem.  (I have the pictures and have tried to attach them here but Angie's list does not seem to have a way to attach pictures.)  We later decided to add more shelving and were torn about saving loads of money by using Lowes Kobalt metal shelving or staying with Garage Monkeyz (even though they are overpriced for lesser quality as Lowes). Ulitmately we decided to go with Garage Monkeyz again because we thought it would look nicer if all of our shelving matched.  Garage Monkeyz came back out and installed some more shelving and charged us $2364 for just 10ft of shelving.  Luckily we caught the error and they fixed it.  Overall, there were just too many problems with Garage Monkeyz lack of customer service and the lesser quality products for over inflated prices.  We ended up paying over $3,400 for pressed particle board shelving that already has cracks in it and could have instead had Lowes install their Kobalt metal shelving that would last a lot longer and look just as nice for less than half the cost.
Ironically we had also spoken with Jaime about finishing our garage floor, but she dropped the ball on that and never got back to us with a quote.  Our garage holds 3 + cars and they have lost a lot of future business with us (and our neighbors) because of the way we were treated.  I would definitely suggest going with a higher quality metal shelving product over the pressed particle board shelving provided by Garage Monkeyz.

    Garage Floor Effects
Just realized I never wrote a review for this work done in July 2015. Mark did an AWESOME job and 20 months later it still looks brand new. He did an especially good job with the "flakes", it looks really good (sadly, its the nicest floor in the house, lol). Since the floor went in I've had a number of other contractors in the house and they all compliment the floor. Even the ones who do epoxy floors themselves say its one of the best they've seen.
