Kris Miller - Decorating Den Interiors
Kris was great. She would pick out several options for each selection (tile, faucets, etc.) and we would go over the options together. Everything she picked went well together and I think it will come together beautifully when it is finished. After everything was selected and ordered, she would continue to provide advice via email for all the small choices, i.e., should the floor tile pattern be diagonal or straight. Kris really helped to keep me from being overwhelmed by all the options available, and she worked within my budget. She was also very comfortable to work with and be around.

Kris Miller - Decorating Den Interiors
Kris has helped us design 2 homes over the course of 15 years. From a design standpoint, these 2 residences are at opposite ends of the spectrum. One is classically traditional & conveys opulence the other is strikingly modern & urban. Kris works on these spaces in tandem, which illustrates her flexibility as a designer and reveals that she is comfortable working with a variety of design styles. My husband & I travel frequently and, when not traveling, have very busy careers. One thing we really appreciate about Kris is her ability to work autonomously & without much direction from us. Shes a fabulous project manager and adept at managing both details & deadlines. We trust Kris to listen to our needs, develop a plan, and execute it as promised. We also trust Kris in our homes when were not present. Because we are a couple on the go, we utilize our homes as havens to retreat & recharge. Kris has made this possible for us, and for that we are grateful.

    QSE Construction & Remodeling LLC
QSE Construction & Remodeling LLC did a phenomenal job from start to finish! My wife and I are 1st time remodelers and the whole process can be overwhelming. Joe and Chevy gave us feedback and design ideas to help us throughout our complete Master Bath remodel which made everything run smoother once we got going. Everyone showed up on time every day and left the area clean for us to continue our daily lives when we returned home every night. We were high maintenance with our requests and attention to detail, but Joe and his team delivered on everything without exception. Our completed bathroom looks beautiful and we cant keep enough business cards on hand after we showed our friends the work Joe and Chevy did. I would be happy to be a referral anytime for a big bathroom remodel or a large deck they also knocked out of the park anytime. Thank you guys!

    Fox Granite
Fox Granite was fantastic to work with! Greg Fox visited our home with granite samples, took measurements, and provided estimate. One week later, his brother Stan emailed us to schedule installation appointment. The following week, we had beautiful new granite countertops installed; Professional & efficient workmen (Jesse = crew chief) were done in about 2 hours. I would definitely use them again for a project!

    N & S Domestics
It started off okay. I only found out the extent of what they had done when I returned home several months later. They had offered to do some contracting work as well since I wanted a few alterations to the house. What I didnt know at the time because I had to vacate the house while they replaced floors, changed appliances, replaced all the wiring in the house, etc., is that they hired illegal immigrants to do the work who Im not quite sure were even licensed to do it. Sylvia at one point sat down with me and said she specifically she wanted to help this class of people through offering them jobs. Im not opposed to that provided they are QUALIFIED to do it and dont do crummy work. Furthermore I ended up hiring one of their cleaners to help me with some things. She herself had DACA but her mother who worked here as well at the time was illegal. I have a sensitive job with the state and specifically cannot hire illegal immigrants. In addition, I was told by this young woman I hired that she and her mother were instructed to throw anything away that had dirt on it. Consequently Im missing thousands and thousands of dollars of merchandise, including jewelry and kitchen appliances that were in boxes, food I had shipped there for them to put away, and home decorations, as well as heirlooms, dishes, and silverware that was in the sink, or the dishwasher, or drawers and cabinets in my kitchen and bathrooms. I dropped by the house to check on things one night. It was 9-9:30 pm. I heard someone rummaging around in the backyard in my things. N & S had put all my furnishings and appliances on the back deck including 100+ year old family antiques. Uncovered. At any rate I rather stupidly opened the door as it could have been someone with a gun, and I find this small Hispanic man who speaks no English whatsoever rummaging through what was put out there, going through items and boxes that had nothing to do with electrical work mind you. He handed me a phone and it was Sylvia one half owner of N&S on the line with him. She said he was the electrician. She had to translate as I showed him the work. I dont mind that, its that I dont think he was even certified as I look around today at the shoddy workmanship of whoever she hired and charged me $30/hr plus, in order to complete things I asked for her to do. I fully regret ever hiring this company. I wish I could undo time. They have literally destroyed my confidence in hiring contractors. I will never do it again unless I know 5hem already or get a referral from a known contractor. They either threw out or stole food, priceless heirlooms, jewelry, appliances (then reinstalled the old broken ones), etc. They threw out a super expensive mattress and tried to replace it with a cheap one. I dont appreciate what they did, which is enrich themselves at my expense then not deliver. I could go on and tell you story after story of how they utterly failed to do what they said they would do, a good job mainly, and to save me money. I look around on and a half years later and so many things are broken that they installed incorrectly its just laughable that they are still in business fooling people out of their money Im sure.

    Blue Diamond Remodeling Inc
Most excellent! Blue Diamond's ability to work with us with all our idiosyncrasies and inexperience was very welcomed. Their transparency with costs, scheduling, sub-contractors, city inspections, and permits, gave us a huge amount of confidence. Their ability to incorporate our changes was relatively seamless. Also, their focus on communicating via email, text, or phone calls, kept us current on the issues that occurred during our remodel. All in all, they were excellent and are working on other projects with our family.

    Ferguson Remodeling & Construction LLC
Jeremy did our master bath and guest bath remodels. We would definitely hire him again. We were interested in doing part of the job ourselves. He had no problem with that. I love that he does costs by line item so you know exactly how much something will be. Several times during the remodels we considered making a change. He was great in working with us as we tried to figure out exactly what we wanted to do. He gave us new estimates and options for changes. We dont have that feeling of I wish I would have done this or that. We were able to purchase all of the materials ourselves so we knew exactly what we were getting. Remodels can be stressful. Not everything is going to go as planned. Jeremy is easy to work with and always addressed any questions or concerns we may have had. They did a great job!

    Premium Cabinets
The service was impeccable. The product was excellent. The design service included fixed all my issues and Mike spent lots of time figuring out the best configuration. There was never any sense that they didnt have time for my questions or design changes. Best service in the business.

Matt did a great job. The biggest frustrations only came from the City of Austin, but Matt and Sunnie did a great job managing it. We paid Matt when it was done, but he kept helping us months afterwards to make sure all the permitting with the city was complete. He is a very trustworthy person and great to work with.

    H&H Design and Construction
I've worked with John to build my projects for 4 years, and during that time I haven't hired any other residential general contractors. He's worked with the same great subcontractors for many years, and has been in the business so long that he knows how to get anything completed. It's important to my business when I recommend a contractor to a client that they perform, meet their deadlines, are budget conscious, trustworthy, reliable and able to communicate effectively with everyone as that recommendation is a reflection on my business also. Over the past decade he's better than every other residential contractor I've worked with so I recommend him to anyone wanting to remodel, add on or build new.
