    Nu Leaf Essentials
I personally had a terrible experience with this company. They were completely disorganized and never responded to my multiple requests (in writing) on pricing before sending me an invoice for work that they had done. Work that I had asked for pricing on before they started. I never signed a contract because they didnt even provide one until they realized they had started the work without one. In my personal opinion, there are much more professional companies to consider and I would stay away from this one!

    C Reese Design
Review for Celeste Reese What a pleasure working with Celeste Reese. I called with a very small (in relative terms) project. Just wanted a porch added to a Georgian home in South Austin. She listened to my wishes and dreams and then asked some important questions that could have greatly affected the project. It looked like my porch was going to be reduced from a splendid addition to just a narrow facade due to a mandatory set-back. Celeste was able to work with city permitting and was able to advocate for a variance that propelled the project forward. With this new information she was free to design a Georgian/Federalist portico that completes the grandeur of our house. Her design elements were exactly what we had talked about and she brought in details that I had not even considered which only made the whole design that much better. Celeste was so delightful to work with and went out of her way to make us feel important and special. The relationship is built for when we design our new house. This project may have been a small one but I know it will lead to bigger and better things for all of us. I cant wait to work with Celeste Reese Design again and would give her my highest endorsement.

    Atlas Green Homes
Do not hire Thomas Atlas or Atlas Green Homes. Google his alias: Manoocher Rowshan. I hired him for a whole-house renovation for a cost of $86,000. After about a month of somewhat consistent work, his crew was only present one or two days a week, and were absent for several weeks at a time. The few times I did see them working on the house, I found discarded beer cans (including an empty 24-pack) and smelled alcohol on the crew. The quality of work was very poor and most of it has to be redone, including many expensive repairs to electrical, plumbing, and house-leveling because he did not hire subcontractors that were licensed for this work. When I fired him, after overpaying him by about $26,000, not including the cost of work that has to be redone, he filed a fraudulent lien on my house in the amount of $100,000, well above our contract amount. I am still litigating this, and meanwhile, my house cannot be occupied.

    Daniel Boardman Residential Design
It went well. Ours was a remodel project, with constraints imposed by the land, the existing dwelling and budgetary considerations. These constraints mentioned made the problem quite challenging. Daniel appropriately divided up the project into 2 phases with the first construction phase in progress now. He is an excellent communicator, knowledgeable, patient and sincere. Our discussions with him provided us the necessary perspective and detail to enable us to confidently proceed.

    Austin DesignBuild Solutions
On September 27, 2017 we signed a design contract with ADBS to design our downstairs remodel. We paid $5,500 - $2,500 for the design, $500 administrative fee, $2,500 deposit to reserve construction resources. On November 8, we felt we had completed the design phase but informed ADBS that we would not be working with them on the remodel itself, due to repeated delays, missed appointments, and overall lack of responsiveness from ADBS CEO Daniel Wade. At that time we informed ADBS by phone and email that we required 1) the final design work product - flooring type, paint codes, cabinet drawings, etc. - per our design contract, and 2) a refund on the $2,500 deposit, since we no longer needed to hold those resources. Since that notification we have reached out to ADBS daily, by phone to the main number and to Daniel Wade's cell phone and by email. We have received no communication from ADBS other than one email on December 2 promising follow up within a week. Their email address has been bouncing since the beginning of the year.

    Daniel Boardman Residential Design
Daniel met with us and spent a couple hours discussing our existing house and yard layout and our ideas for the future. He pointed out a few possibilities in our house that we hadn't considered before and gave us some good things to consider as we continued planning, and he referred us to a general contractor he trusted as well. In the end, we deferred the entire project because of some extenuating circumstances, but we appreciated Daniel's input and responsiveness, and we would go back to him if we continue the project in the future.

The construction process went great. We were living in the house the whole time except for I think 5 days we spent with my mother. Everyone was very considerate about keeping the dust contained and were really good about cleaning up afterward.

    Dick Bell Design
We are recent newlyweds and bought our first home last summer. We were moving into a 3100 sq. ft. home from a 1200 sq. ft. and needed help selecting furniture to fill up our new home. My husband and I have very different tastes in decor. I contacted Mr. Bell to help us merge our tastes and help us get to a place where we could agree on things.
Mr. Bell personally, went furniture shopping with us and provided great direction when we made trips on our own. If I texted him with a question or idea he responded promptly.
We also made up a plan together on what was a priority in regards to decorating our home. So it is still a process that we are working on together.
I would say the great thing about Dick Bell is that he is really good at using what you already have to decorate in a fresh way. He has the ability to add new pieces and totally change the look of a room.
Another quality I noticed is that Mr. Bell really listened to both me and my husband and to all of our concerns. We have three dogs which changes how you approach buying a couch for example. I have worked with designers in the past who just do what they want to do. Dick Bell designs a home you can live in and be proud of.
I highly recommend him to anyone looking for an interior designer, even if it is for just one room in your house. He is so talented at both creating a home from a blank slate to helping you declutter and decorate with what you have in a new way.

    House Plans Etc
Bob was extremely professional and competent. His design knowledge base and skillset was incredible. I am very happy with the way he took my ideas and translated them into reality for my home. I would highly recommend him to anyone interested in exploring traditional design elements blended to out of the box design functionality.

    rodger pierce architect
BEWARE of doing business with this man!! Not only has Rodger Pierce proven himself to have an aggressive attitude & violent, passive-aggressive outbursts-He has sued countless clients to get out of having to do any legitimate work, while still taking your money! READ THE FINE PRINT BEFORE DOING ANY BUSINESS, OR SIGNING ANY DOCUMENT/CONTRACT HE HAS WRITTEN UP & GIVEN TO YOU!! Not only is this man a sociopath, his "business" is run out of his dilapidated apartment, & when I confronted him (without calling ahead) about not fulfilling his his obligations, he appeared to be loaded, & high on drugs of some sort!! Mister Pierce is, in my opinion & experience, a highly unstable person, waiting for unknowing clients to rip off & screw over! Not only was I a victim of this man's greed & psychotic behavior, but two associates of mine were also scammed by this slick-talking con man!
