  • My wife and I are Provider name locked. Barley & Provider name locked. Architects, Provider name locked. and Provider name locked. Barley respectively as I write this review. It's a matter of public record. The lawsuit is filed in Provider name locked. County, TX in the 345th District Court. Cause No. D-1-GN-14-000772.
    The full Original Verified Petition and Index may be viewed here: http://causeno-d-1-gn-14-000772.weebly.com/
    There are several factual bases for our lawsuit but perhaps the most glaring and obvious is the fact that, ultimately, they produced architectural construction documents (CDs) bearing the stamp/seal and signature of Provider name locked. which - as designed - ARE INCOMPATIBLE WITH MY PROPERTY BOUNDARIES.
    SOME BASES FOR OUR LAWSUIT (INCLUDED IN OUR ORIGINAL VERIFIED PETITION):
    - The proposed structure, as designed in B&P's CDs, is incompatible with our property boundaries;
    - B&P produced CDs that failed to identify the rear setback line (a boundary established by a variance granted by the City of Provider name locked. Board of Adjustment)
    - B&P took approximately 8 months to produce and release the CDs;
    - B&P invoiced my wife and I for an amount exceeding 40% of our total stated budget - a budget amount recognized in the contract;
    - B&P invoiced my wife and I for an amount exceeding their highest contractual estimate by almost 3 times
    Finally, the "Project Provider name locked. " that performed the majority of the drafting on our design happened to leave the firm on or about the same time that we informed B&P of our intent to bring suit against them.
    My hope in posting this review here is that potential clients take seriously their decision to enter into a business relationship with B&P.

  • I have worked with quite a few Architects over the years and Provider name locked. was extremely accommodating. He is concerned with your ideas and wants not HIS ideas about what you should do. He stayed within budget, made fantastic recommendations for designs, and was available for all kinds of questions about resources & materials.  He is punctual, professional, and was a pleasure to deal with throughout the design and construction process. Even when completed, he is the type to always be available for questions and to help you work through resolutions, whatever the issue might be. I would strongly recommend him and his firm to anyone looking for architectural design or construction services. This was my second time employing Provider name locked. and I have recommended him to many of my friends. My builder, who has worked with many Architects, said he was the easiest Architect he has ever worked with and has done a few jobs with him since. If you are looking for someone to work with you and for you, Provider name locked. is the guy!

  • We had a difficult and unusual situation, and Provider name locked. was very helpful.  The original contractor took out a wall and added a master suite, without any drawings and without pulling any permits; then he left the job incomplete.  In order to complete it, we needed permits, and in order to get permits we needed someone who could draw the building as it stood, so we could explain to the city what happened.  Enter Provider name locked. , who helped us navigate all the city requirements.  Provider name locked. 's drawings were great, and he did spend time for us going to the city to make sure he understood what they needed in order for us to get the permits.  Provider name locked. was very easy to work with, and usually available when we needed to speak with him.  He was always professional, and his price was MORE than fair.  The only issue we had with Provider name locked. was the timing.  We originally met with him on 5/28, and verbally he told us it would take a month to 6 weeks to get the drawings done.  We even asked if it could happen any quicker than that, but he said that he could not do it any quicker because of other work he had.  But we did not receive his final drawings and invoice until 10/22.
