  • Pedro and Dee made a quick trip out to review the work, and provided a reasonable estimate within minutes of leaving the house, scheduling the work for the next day, and the following if it couldn't be completed. Pedro and his assistant were on-time and brisk, finishing off all these repairs in 3+ hours, professional, high quality. They made sure to check to ensure we were happy with progress and the final product.

  • What a day? After a machine hiccup found by Mike acted fast and rescheduled two ladies to clean my apartment, so they would have time to finish before the scheduled inspection which I had scheduled for early afternoon. The cleaning professionals were scheduled to be at my apartment between 12 and 12:30, but to my surprise they arrived at 11:45. Keep in mind these ladies were scheduled as a last minute crew to meet my cleaning needs. Sandra and Maritza, from Group #5, were ready for the task. They both attacked my apartment and all was completed in less than a couple of hours. They even cleaned the outside of my front door and the trash container used for the apartments pickup service. When the Inspector and I walked through the apartment, she asked who I had clean the apartment. I told her that a Maidsway assigned crew had provided me with the cleaning service. She said she thought it was nicely done. I could not agree more. Sandra and Maritza did an excellent job, even though they were a last minute call. My hat is off to them in my appreciation for the service they provided me in the cleaning of my apartment. Thanks to Mike too, as he made the last minute arrangements for my cleaning. Best Alain

  • I needed an outlet for my new dryer. It was a 240 V and I was unaware that my House didn't have that kind of outlet. My friend told me about straight arrow and Josh came out to my place and had me up and running within an hour or so. He even saved me a few bucks when he pointed out that the outlet I bought was way fancier than I needed. He took the receipt and the outlet to Home Depot and returned with a cheaper outlet and some change for me $$$:) Great guy, great work. Honest, quick and cheap!

  • The cost changes a little bit obviously the garage changes things and then the dog changes things. Unfortunately there is some things that we didn't want. We did not have choice when we moved here which was kind of a drag and of course the fire place cost more. We didn't want the fire place. My husband's company gave him three and a half weeks to sell our house and find an apartment in Austin and so we were jammed. They were three available out of probably I do not know how many. I know that I contacted 27 different apartment complex finally with an apartment finder people yes there were three available at that time and this was by far the best also by far the costliest. The maintenance people are fabulous. They are really good and they are very quick and they pay attention. The maintenance people and those two guys and they are really good. Comparatively they were definitely the A in our book. For what we get here it probably one of the most reasonable so I would probably give it a B. We had a problem with the customer service the guy who rented us he is no longer a year ago and the people that they got in there now are wonderful. The guy who rented it to us misrepresented some of the policies and some of the costs and so that's knocking on us about a month later and kind of bopped us in the butt and they have since fired him which is really good. So that was a tough one. Now the people that they got in their office are wonderful. The maintenance it is same as it is you put on there because it all done online you do in there and you tell him how responsive things are then they will be there at whatever time.

  • I have been living there for about a year and a half. I like its location. I had a problem over the summer when my air conditioning went out. It took weeks to get it fixed, but eventually they did.

  • I applied for a short term lease of 4 months at the Marquis at Ladera
    Vista in May 2014. I made if very clear that I would only be here for 4
    months because I have accepted a job in New Zealand. We talked about
    this at length, the leasing agent even knew someone who had lived there
    etc. I agreed to a lease until September 12,2014 so we would be on an
    even month. When I stopped by the office to let them know we will
    actually be out of the apartment on August 25, 2014 in case they wanted
    to get in and get it ready for the next tenant, they claim I have to
    give 60 days notice. I feel I was very clear in my intent and in fact
    gave them 120 days notice. At no time did the leasing agent tell me I
    would have to repeat this notification. I feel this is a deceptive
    practice by putting a note in the lease requiring 60 days notice and not
    informing me that my very clear intentions did not serve this purpose.
    I am fine with paying through September 12, 2014 as the lease indicated,
    but I do not feel they are justified in charging me for an additional
    month and fees for breaking lease.
    I have done exactly what I told them I would when I moved in. I was
    very clear about what I needed and the length of time I needed it for.
    Their failure to note this on their end should not become my financial
    responsibility. If they needed additional notice they should have said
    so when I signed the lease. I repeatedly told them I would be leaving in
    4 months and that my new job started on September 1, 2014. My daughter
    was with me during at least one of these conversations and can confirm
    It even states on my lease that I am moving to New Zealand in September
    on page 2 of the on line lease application.

  • I was looking for a certain metal post to build a fence. They had the product and they cut them to size for me. Metalink also makes gates! I had some metal gates custom designed and they worked perfect.

  • With so little time to find movers the LONGORIA MOVING company did an excellent job with such short notice of less than one week to move me from one location to another.  I will recommend them to family and friends for any of their moving needs. I feel very fortunate to have done business with them.  I am so please - moving can be so stressful and they took a load off me. :}

  • The apartment complex is centrally located and having a garage is a plus.  It comes with drawbacks.  The buildings are older and the ACs, windows, etc are older as well.  This leads to higher than expected electric bills, and noisier apartments.  There is limited guest parking in parts of the complex.  
    My warning to all current and future tenants.  Force them to do  the initial and final walk through with you, and get everything in writing.  Don't let them say, 'We don't do that.'  
    After I moved out, I was charged for cleaning the carpets and painting the walls.  They stated that there was a smoke smell in the apartment.   The priceless part of this is....I'm a non-smoker and was the only tenant.  I didn't do anything wrong.  They didn't say that I damaged the apartment.  They stated that if it costs them more than they expect to get an apartment ready that they pass the cost on to the vacating tenant.
    I fought the good fight on getting things resolved, all  to no avail.  They turned me in to a third party collection agency.  Rather than deal with the stress any longer, I 'settled' with the collection agency for half the charges.

  • A+.  It was the best apartment I’ve ever experienced.  They were expensive, but they are worth every penny.  I am strongly considering moving back into the apartments.  It comes with a 2-car garage, washer/dryer, cable, trash pickup, microwave oven, 10ft ceilings.
