"I took in two pairs of
Austin Tailors Provider Name Locked
to be hemmed for my mother who lives out of town. Luckily she had given me a third pair that had been previously hemmed by someone else in order to get an exact measurement for the other two pairs that needed to be hemmed. The tailor was very nice and promised they'd be done in two weeks which was a reasonable amount of time for me as I was going out of town. He did mention that they might be done sooner and he would call if that was the case. I ended up calling to check in the day before they were scheduled to be completed and he told me that the

were done and to come by any time to pick them up. The tailor did a great hem job and I look forward to doing future business with them.

"I took two sport coats to Hope?s. One was new and the other was a bit older. Both coats needed to be taken in around the waste; the sleeves, upper back and collar region needed some tailoring as well. I was concerned at first, having recently gone through a nightmare experience at Nordstroms. Hope was very careful in getting both coats pinned. During the fitting I asked a ton of questions and second guessed just about every single thing the poor lady did. After the terrible fitting I had gotten at Nordies I wasn?t going to leave anything to
Austin Tailors Provider Name Locked
. Hope put me at ease promising a perfect final result. She finished her work exactly on time and both coats look phenomenal. She remembered how skeptical I had been the week before so while I was trying on the final product she checked every single detail to be sure she was satisfied. When she was done she quibbled with her Spanish accent, ?...and you doubted me! I?ve been doing this since before you were born.? I?ve returned with a couple of suits that needed to be refreshed and she?s done a perfect job each time. Though her costs are a bit higher than other places, her work is excellent and well worth the price. Hope?s has earned my repeat business.

"They set clear expectations on the timing and were very quick with the measurements. The resulting alterations were on time and met my expectations."

"Their customer service was professional. Many of the items they cleaned smelled like body odor. I think they were cleaned, but they had a strong odor. They were pressed and appeared neat, but the odor was so strong I had to take them to another store."

"I left the coat in early December hoping it could be done in time for my holiday trip. They said it would definitely be ready later (while I was away) because they might have to order the zipper. I called 3 days before leaving to see if it would be ready early. They said they would try, and they did complete it before I left - a week before their original completion date. It was very professionally done and looked as good as the original zipper."

"Now that the appliances are all installed I am very happy. However, when I made the purchase, I wasn't told that not all were in stock. It took a while for the order to come in. The installation was very smooth, set for a convenient time. The washer had a latch problem which has already been repaired."

"This is a busy place, but I think I was there during prom season, so perhaps that added a bit to the level of business. It's a small shop, so you have to try on your garment in a curtain area, but then step out more into the public area for pinning. The quality of work was excellent as was the turnaround time. My only complaint was the cost; the dress itself cost $200 but alterations ran $120. I didn't think they did so much to justify that much money. But again, quality was good, and they were friendly enough."

"I've been looking for a good inexpensive seamstress/alterations place. I'd been going to the place in
Austin Tailors Provider Name Locked
Creek mall, mostly for convenience. I found Hope's Tailor on Angie's lists. So, I emailed them asking for a price list. The email was returned with an incorrect email address. So, I decided to give them another

and called. The woman who answered the phone was clearly distracted. When I asked her how much it would be to hem a pair of pants and take them in at the waist, she couldn't tell me. She said the owner of the shop would be back later and could I bring the pants in! She was able to tell me that a

hem would be $12.50. Well, that's the same price as the mall, so I'll continue to go there.

"I called a few other places for alterations, but they were booked out for more than two months.
Austin Tailors Provider Name Locked
gave me an appointment within the week. She was very professional and gave me several recommendations for making the dress look better. She performed the alterations quickly. I had my dress back 2 weeks later. The cost was incredibly affordable. The dress and under-slip looked great. The dress fit better, but I couldn't even see that the seams were any different from the original."

"After having more than one bad experience with tailors in
Austin Tailors Provider Name Locked
, we found the ideal tailor. This family run business does tailoring for several local stores, including Diesel. They are very friendly and have opened the door after they were closed for me so I could collect my altered garment. I have been very satisfied with the work and appreciate the friendly staff. By far the best tailor I have ever used."
