    Intown Craftsmen
Very high quality work, and very responsive. They really care about providing quality and meeting your needs. They are probably not always the lowest cost alternative, but possibly paying a little bit more is definitely worth it for us. We initially choose them due to their high grades on Angie's List.

    Leos Home care improvements
It went really well. It ended up being 5 days instead of 4 because the wallpaper was extremely hard to remove. Then minor repairs (spackling) needed to be done before the primer and paint were applied. Leo did mention that this might happen. They ended up putting on three coats because the paint was cheap or the color before was dark. I used Behr from Home Depot and used in the past w/o issue. Not sure. Leo will supply paint if asked- he will just give you the receipts. I wish I would have done that from the start. I had a few bad spot in the drywall here and there, and I tried to patch them up.....Leo patched them up for me after my failed attempt. He and his coworkers were friendly and worked hard each day. I know he was busy with other jobs, but he managed to squeeze me into his schedule. The entire job was all done in less than a week. Luckily, it rained a few days and my interior job was able to be completed. I did move furniture each night to make the rooms they were working on more accessible and not waste time on them moving so much stuff/furniture. He let me know which rooms would be worked on the following day/s. Saved them time and was easy to do. I was very satisfied with the overall outcome and would hire them again. I did work out a job total and not pay a hour/daily rate. I felt more comfortable with that payment because I had a budget. Leo accepted the idea of a flat rate and I think it was fair on both ends. One other great thing-they cleaned up each day. I am very happy with results.

    Professional Home Improvement Inc
Recently hired Professional Home Improvement to re-do my small hall bathroom in my 1960s ranch. Dennis did a great job recommending products and giving me guidance on finishes - while respecting my budget, tastes and timelines. The work teams were coordinated well, punctual and neat - got everything done in under 2 weeks. Ive been enjoying my new bath for over a month now with no problems. Would definitely recommend this organization.

    Mini Jobs
It all went well -- bathrooms look great. Throughout Tim would consult with me to be sure I liked the way things were looking to ensure there were no surprises. I was especially pleased with the solution he came up with for closet doors --I had been perplexed about what to do and it turned out very well. It is comfortable inviting Mini Jobs into our home as I know their staff over the years. I already know which projects I will ask them to tackle next.

Terry was so easy to work with.  She returned my initial contact promptly, quoted promptly and fairly, took the time to understand the job and my time constraints, and was a pleasure to interact with. Every I was dotted, every T crossed, and I always knew what to expect.  I appreciated that she was glad to use email and texting, in addition to calls, to save time.

They fixed my botched attempt to remove wallpaper (I had badly damaged the wallboard); others had told me I'd have to replace with sheetrock - not Terry.  She even made an on the spot recommendation for a carpenter that swooped in and saved the day when we found an issue I had not spotted earlier, a small thing that could have derailed the whole process if left undone.

She squeezed me in to accommodate other work happening in my home, and she and her painter were quiet as mice as they did the work (I work from home, so I would have noticed the difference).  They were very aware of my pets and leaving doors open, and respectful at all times.  They cleaned up after themselves completely and protected my belongings.

I now have a gorgeous room, perfectly painted, gorgeous trimwork, completely smooth walls, ready for the other work; you can't tell there was every wallpaper, let alone deep gauges that improper wallpaper removal attempts (which I did) ever happened!  I can't wait to have her and her team back again.  I recommend this team without reservation.

Terrific!  Don was here when promised and completed the work in 2 days as promised, even though we'd added a extra work.
Besides the professional results, Don was a pleasure to have in our home for 2 days.  He cleaned up as he worked and left everything neat as a pin.
We will definitely use him for any future wallpaper or painting projects.

    The Painting Company
When I did not proceed with the job, the company was gracious enough to provide the contact information for the Color consultant with the understanding that I could contract with them directly. When the Salesman found out, he had the consultant cancel at the last minute. This was after a weeks delay and after I took a day off. I imagine that this company can do a good job of paining, but they are not professional or reputable. Be weary of doing business with these folks, as in my humble opinion are not ethical.

So, started off fairly well-  had them over, and they saw the condition of the wallpaper the previous residents had left.  It was my suggestion from day one to remove the wallboard, and start over, but they said it may be faster and cheaper to remove wall paper.. Ok, so, after they went through the 4 hours (1 per contractor they hired.. read the print), they came back with "na, wall board is the right move, so we'll need to get some board".  Ok, so more hours wasted, and then they kinda had half of it up.  The next day they finished, and then started the 3 days of mudding.
But, in the process, they broke a door, and never taped off the floor, so there is just crap everywhere that I now have to clean up, and now have to replace a bi-folding door.  The owner said "we'll take care of it", and that was cool, but then the snow 'happened' all two drops of it, and a few other excuses later, we were out weeks with the door done.  I provided AMPLE time (weeks) for that to be fixed, but nope.. no good.
So, I told him, I'd write a review, and state _all_ that had happened.  Have the texts, and images, should anyone want to see it.

Don did a great job!  Both spaces look absolutely wonderful! Don was incredibly professional, courteous and responsive throughout the entire process.  He responded quickly to a request for an estimate, came out & gave a fair price & showed up as agreed on the day work was to start.  All work was completed in a timely fashion & Don kept his work area & my house neat & tidy. I can't recommend him highly enough -- it was so nice to have a house project happen without any complications & we are absolutely thrilled with the results!

I bought the deal November 24th. Directions said to give them dates when I would be available to have the services performed.  Gave them three days.  They responded same day but were not available any of the days I suggested; gave me a date of 12/10 and asked me to confirm.  I confirmed on November 24th.

I wrote 12/9 to confirm they would be at my house the next day.  Jon responded promptly but said he needed to reschedule "due to an emergency" and set a different time on the same day.  I arranged for my sister to be at my house all day.  Late that day I sent an email to ask if they were still coming.  Jon responded the next day and said he had to reschedule "due to an emergency" but that he had me scheduled for 1/20/16.  They did not contact me again or, needless to say, show up yesterday.

Sounds like another classic example of someone offering a deal for a price that's too low, getting too many takers, and being completely unable to handle the volume.  Why do people do this?  Jon sounds like a nice guy but surely he could have limited the number of deals he offered.
