  • Atlanta Craftsman was very responsive and gave me a quote for the repairs. I also had a tear in the arm and they were able to mend it as well. They came and picked up the sofa on Mon., 8/13 and delivered it back to my house this morning, Thurs., 8/16. It looks great!

  • Olivia and her team were fantastic to work with. I brought them a Duncan Phyfe sofa I'd found at a consignment shop with cracked legs and needing new cushions and reupholstering and they completely restored it and brought it back to life. Olivia was great to work with, she was very prompt in her responses over text and the sofa was delivered on schedule (only 3 week turnaround which was great!). She was also helpful in sending me pictures for inspiration and helping me select the fabric- her shop has a great selection. When the sofa arrived, I noticed a small crack that was still visible and Olivia's team came out immediately to picked it up, fixed it and re-delivered it, free of charge. The only reason I gave a B for pricing is just the overall expense ended up being higher than I expected- mostly due to the fabric I chose and needing to do additional repair work on the sofa-BUT Olivia kept me in the loop with all the pricing changes, so nothing came as a surprise at the end. I would highly recommend Atlanta Craftsman Interiors and am sure I'll work with them again.

  • AMAZING! I had company visiting Friday, and she came to my house the prior Sat brought many samples of fabrics and had both my chair and ottoman covered BEAUTIFULLY in less than one week. They looked like brand new pieces of furniture! We recommend them to everyone we know and wouldn't consider using anyone else! Fast, professional, quality, and wonderful to work with!

  • Buyer beware! This company will not take blame for mistakes. My boyfriend went to Oscar's to ask about getting a headliner put in a brand new hardtop we had just purchased and painted. The man we spoke with (not Oscar) said it would cost under $300 and take a few hours because "this is what they do". My boyfriend brought the car in the next morning (Tue 11/14) to have the work done. Oscar was there this day and said it would cost $760, not the $300 quote we recieved the day before and would take all day. Apparently only Oscar can give quotes... Although this should have been our queue to run, we agreed to let them proceed with the work. Since my hardtop is removeable, they insisted we remove it. After just having had it painted, we decided to tape it ourselves to ensure no damage to the hardtop or the custom acrylic rear window. After they started the work THEN they told us they only accepted cash. Pretty important piece of information that we should have had up front (red flag #2). The car was not ready until after dark, upon inspection the next morning, we noticed some stray fibers and foam backing showing near the rear window. Returned to Oscars (Weds am 11/15) and asked them to trim the fabric. They said they could not trim the fabric due to the way the piping was stitched. Clarified that we just wanted the stray fibers and foam backing that was sticking out trimmed. The woman up front called one of the employees from the back who came out with a razor to trim the fiber. My boyfriend offered to tape the window which he refused and I left the tape in the car for him to tape the window. He did not tape the window, he trimmed the fibers with the razor, my boyfriend thanked them and left. Later that day when cleaning the window my boyfriend noticed several razor lines in the interior tint on the custom acrylic window. We called Oscar to report the damage and he said he was going out of town and to come on the following Tuesday (11/21). On Tuesday we saw Oscar and showed him the damage (remember...brand new hardtop only had a few weeks). He said they did not do it (who else would be in the window with a razor blade?) but he would get a window guy he knows to fix it (as if he's doing us a favor). Oscar also brought his employee out to show him the razor lines. When we also pointed out some adhesive on the window, he said they didn't do that either but he could clean it. My boyfriend got irritated, raised his voice (was not yelling at all as I was standing there and couldn't even hear him) and said that he certainly didn't do it and that Oscar was lying to him. That is when Oscar got angry and said he would not deal with him but would talk to me. So I calmly looked at Oscar and said "he is upset because..." Oscar snapped, started talking quickly and said he wouldn't do anything with the car. But wait, it gets weirder. The woman came out and got Oscar and they went inside...crickets...Yup. I thought she would come back out and speak with me but she did not. I went inside and told them that I wanted them to pay to get the window fixed. They laughed. The woman proceeded to tell me a modified version of the above story and that they did not trim the fibers at all and that my boyfriend (who is obsessed with caution and taping and caring for this vehicle) must have decided to cut the fibers himself and cut the window and is now lying about it (for what reason I cannot imagine). My boyfriend is likely the most honest person I have ever met and has no problem at all taking blame for his mistakes. He had not been inside of the vehicle with a razor or anything similar. In addition to all of this, why do I need to defend what happened? Am I not the customer? Do I not deserve to have someone take a bit of care when dealing with my car to take 5 seconds to tape a window to prevent damage? If we did this we would have had it fixed by now instead of waiting to deal with these condescending swindlers. I'm not sure how we get the window repaired yet but even if we have to replace it we are talking about a few hundred bucks. I cannot stand when companies refuse to admit they made a mistake. That is the only reason I was upset with the situation and to then say we did it ourselves and are trying to blame them over something so trivial...are you kidding me? I have better things to do with my time! I don't normally write reviews but felt so strongly about the abhorrent customer service at this place. I'm sure if everything is perfect you will have no problems (except their general better than you attitude) but buyer beware, these folks are first rate jerks.

  • The overstuffed chairs were 30 years old and one had a broken arm. Now they look brand new and gorgeous. The intricate cording was done to perfection. You cannot tell that I did not just purchase them! I also had two sofa cushions that had lost their firmness and support. They also look brand new and offer great support.

  • Olivia is the consummate professional. She helped me choose fabric offering an opinion and ideas only when I asked. I immediately trusted her and the men who removed my sofa and chair. Just received everything back an hour ago and am so, so pleased. The craftsmanship is outstanding. Olivia's husband, Anthony, who is the upholsterer, came with her to inspect the entire process. Lovely couple and competent in every way. I enthusiastically recommend them. In the past I have worked with other upholsterers, some of whom were disasters.   • Hans Upholstery beat out all bids with $350 for two chairs and three day turn around time. My fabric was in two pieces and no longer available so I was afraid I didn't have enough, esp when pattern needed to be matched. Hans did a beautiful job, very professional, fine work. I'm most pleased and get fine compliments on the chairs. Will recommend him over and over.

  •  Every detail on the chair and ottoman are perfect, from the fresh, new cushions to the piping, to the pleats around the bottom. Because my fabric had a unique design, they made certain that the design was perfectly centered where it should be on the front, back, seat cushion, arms, and ottoman.

    While good re-upholstery is not cheap, I now have a chair and ottoman that look like they came from a high-end furniture boutique, for considerably less than I would have spent had I purchased them new.

    Very nice people to work with-- I couldn't be happier!

  • It went extremely well! It all started with Christine, who was great, personable and professional. She scheduled the appointment for me. Stephen called the night before to confirm, and was punctual, nice, and very professional. I loved the honesty, as they didn't know if it could be repaired since the damage was on a seam and the couch was bonded leather. He exceeded my expectations completely! I hope to never have to use them again, because that would mean I ruined another piece of furniture, but if I do, they are the only company I will call. I would gladly recommend them to anyone needing leather repair. Thank you so very much Leather Finesse!

  • The overall experience was positive, from start to finish. Olivia was responsive to my emails. They worked with my schedule to arrange convenient pick up and drop off times and ran right on schedule. The turnaround time was quick and the quality of the work superior. I only give a B for the price because the cost is not a bargain, but the expense is worth the high quality and fine detail Olivia and her team provide. We will absolutely use them again in the future for any reupholstery needs.
