    Laureate Medical Group
Had an appointment for a sleep study and was told to pay upfront since it wasn't covered by insurance. Was told the fee included the test and results. After going in for the results, I received a bill for almost $200 for my 5 minute meeting with the PA who told me I needed TJ go see another doctor. After multiple calls to speak to someone with no callback, they finally called after a few months when I sent a message to the doctor. I was told that the person in the office must have told me the wrong thing when I initially paid and that I would still have to pay for the results. No accountability on their end for providing wrong information to their patients.

    Perimeter Orthopaedics
Great ! Dr. Nicholson referred me to their Physical Therapy Department which is located in their office, I have been going there and receiving physical therapy for a couple of months due to a knee/leg injury. The therapists are Rachael and Jenn and they are fantastic ! My leg is much better now and I appreciate the personal attention they have given me. I highly recommend these ladies for any PT needs anyone might have. They are the best !

    Perimeter Orthopaedics
I fell on concrete and injured my right knee, leg and foot. Someone recommended Dr. Daniel Nicholson at Perimeter Orthopaedics to me since I was having so much swelling and bruising. I made the appointment and I am so glad I did ! Dr. Nicholson was absolutely fantastic. He ordered an ultrasound on my right leg which was done by their own technician who was wonderful ! After reading the ultrasound, Dr. Nicholson used a syringe/needle and removed 5 or 6 large viles of fluid from my knee. He then wrapped it in a bandage and also gave me a larger leg/knee sleeve brace to wear for several weeks. He also gave me a prescription for a medication to help with the swelling in my knee and foot. I have a follow-up appointment with him in one month. Dr. Nicholson and his nurse, Janet, were very knowledgeable, kind and answered all of my questions. They took time to explain the process to me in "layman's terms" which always helps. Dr. Nicholson's ultrasound technician was also very good. She was very knowledgeable, kind and efficient and I truly appreciate all the help I received from the staff. I highly recommend Dr. Daniel Nicholson to anyone needing orthopaedic care -- he and his staff are the best !

    Perimeter Orthopaedics
My appointment with Dr. Daniel Nicholson went fine. He ordered ultrasounds of my right knee, leg and foot due to an injury I incurred. My knee and foot had swollen terribly. After reading the ultrasound, Dr. Nicholson drained my knee with a syringe and wrapped it with a bandage. He gave me a prescription to help reduce the remainder of the swelling. He and his nurse, Janet are both fantastic ! Also, the lady who did the ultrasound was fantastic too. I have a follow-up appointment in 1 month. I highly recommend Dr. Nicholson to anyone needing this type of care.

Dr. L. Franklyn Elliott - Atlanta Plastic Surgery
Underwent a prophylactic double mastectomy and Dr. Elliott performed the breast reconstruction with free TRAM flap repair. Three months post-op and results are great. The shape of my breast are exactly what I wanted..they look very natural. The results of the "mini" tummy tuck that is done as part of the TRAM flap removal was better than I expected, my stomach has never looked so flat in my whole life! My stomach looks better than even before I had kids. Dr. Elliott, his nurses and staff have been very supportive and great through the whole process. They did an excellent job explaining procedure options, risks and the recovery process. I would recommend him to family or friends.

    Morse, Dr. Heather H.
Excellent. Dr. Morse was very helpful in explaining everything about my foot and the surgery. Additionally she was clear about my self care post op. She is both compassionate and caring every time I see her. She purposely included my husband in the review of post op care so that he could help. I especially liked her estimates of what to expect and when and the fact that she went out of her way to make herself available should I need anything off hours. The surgery was a complete success and I have full mobility in my foot and toe and scarring will be negligible. I have never had to wait more than five minutes to get into the office or to see her once I was in a room. Additionally, her staff is diligent about reminders and accommodating when I needed flexibility.

    Faruque, Dr. Sairus
After 15 years I got fired as a patient. From what I understand it was because I cancelled an appt and had not been able to reschedule it with work travel and then the holidays - when I called to schedule this morning the scheduler told me I was fired as a patient and there was nothing I could do about it. She said it was because I tried to fill prescriptions without my routine appts. The ONLY request for refills came from my pharmacy which has me on auto refill. No call from the dr office, no note until I get the letter this afternoon. I am astounded, I liked Dr Faruque and have given him great reviews in the past. I've been told that this is part of the affordable care - if you don't got to every appt the Dr does not get the full reimbursement when you do go so they drop you from their patient list. Really sad that this is what it comes to. 30 days to find a new doctor and then you are out on your own - so much for patent CARE!

    Total HealthCare Medical Centers
Great non-surgical joint and spine center. I had a frozen shoulder and severe neck issues. My mother had similar issues when she was my age and had to have surgery 3 times for her slipped disc. I was determined not to go that route and within 4 months I feel a ton better! The staff is kind and thoughtful. The services are efficient, almost always in and out within an hour. A blend of chiropractic care, trigger point injections (all herbal!) and physical therapy helped me greatly. I still have a way to go but I now see them only twice a month Andy they have given me the tools to do my exercises at home to continue progress.

    Advent Birth Services
3rd baby = no need for a doula, right? WRONG! Even though I had "been there, done that" twice already, I cannot stress how helpful and needed Que's services were to my husband and me. Que immediately felt like a longtime friend from the first meeting we had with her and instantly calmed any fears I had about being a 3rd time mom with a complicated pregnancy. She gave me several tricks and tips for comfort during the last few weeks of pregnancy and how to help kick-start my body to begin preparing for labor and delivery. Day of induction she helped set up the L&D room with low lighting and twinkle lights and a calming oil diffusing away. The nurses all commented on how much they loved the environment she created! During labor she was invaluable in her calm and confident demeanor and constant reassurance that I could do this and that I needed to release and let this labor story unfold how it needed to. My two previous births were long and hard so I was holding onto a lot of fear. Que helped me release those fears in the moment and this third baby came SO much more quickly and easily than my previous two! I was amazed! In the weeks following she was readily available to answer any questions I might have and checked in on baby and me from time to time. During our postpartum visit she also helped me greatly with nursing as she's also a certified lactation consultant! My daughter had been refusing to nurse without a nipple shield and Que worked with us and got her to latch without much effort! Amazed again! Not only was Que fantastic during labor, but her incredible services extended far beyond both pre and post birth. I would recommend her to any woman considering hiring a doula!

    Mount Vernon Internal Medicine
I will start by saying I that I think that Dr. Tinanoff is a really good doctor, she it thorough and bright. The office staff on the other hand is horrendous! I am appalled with my encounter this week, it's unreal. Like other reviews state, trying to get someone on the phone is like your odds for winning the lottery - slim to none. I was scolded in front of other staff members for a simple misunderstanding of how long it takes to get a prescription refill. The last few times I had been able to call in the refill in the morning and they would have it ready for me by end of day. This time though it wasn't. I came into the office 10 minutes before closing, first off the entrance where you pick up your prescriptions was already locked. I knocked on the door and could hear someone at the back desk clicking away on the computer but never bothered to answer the door. I went around to the main entrance where there were 2 ladies behind the front desk. One lady just glared at me while I told them that I was here to pick up a prescription refill and the other door was already locked. The other lady was pleasant (she had short hair and glasses, didn't get a name though), she apologized saying that it shouldn't have been locked and asked for my ID for the prescription, then went to the back. I could hear other staff members in the back loudly talk about their irritation about looking for/filling my prescription. After about 20 minutes the lady came back, apologized for the wait but said that she couldn't find my prescription anywhere and that the Tinanoff had already left for the day. She asked me to come back tomorrow, I asked what time they opened to which she said 7:30am and that I should be able to get it then. I come back this morning at 7:50am and of course the door pick up prescriptions was locked, shocking. I precede back to the main entrance, where I find the same 2 ladies at the desk. The one lady who glared at me yesterday had the same lovely expression on her face and thankfully the lady with glasses was there to greet me. She again took my ID and was off. After a few minutes the lady returned with another lady in tow (older lady with white hair) who I'm assuming was probably the office manager. I explained to her that I had called in my prescription yesterday morning, had visited last night and was told to come back this morning. She starts by saying that it takes 48 hours to refill prescriptions. I told her that previous I had no issue with same day pickup and that based on previous encountered I assumed it would have been the same. She snidely told that if every person came in whenever they wanted to pick up prescriptions that they wouldn't get anything done, her irritation was very visible. It was just down hill from there. Honestly, this was a simple misunderstanding on operating procedures. This woman, and most of the other women in this office should not work in customer service. I could not believe that she scolded me and how frustrated she was. Instead of saying something like "I'm glad that we've been able to service your request same day previously, but it can take up to 48 hours. Since this was a holiday week we've had a high volume, which is why it's going to take 48 hours. If you come back this afternoon we should have it ready for you." Simple, easy, done. Instead I got attitude, scolded and was left feeling nothing close to valued. People in customer service, especially the medical field should treat their clients with empathy, compassion and respect, which is the polar opposite of what I received. No one asked these people to take jobs in customer service, they chose it. After the encounter today it's VERY clear that most of them should have chosen differently.
