Marble & Granite reviews in Atlanta

Real People ~ Real Reviews ~ Real Results

  • Countertop cutters were nice, but only completed half the simple project I paid for, which prevented the full installation of my appliance. When I circled back around to the boss a half dozen times the week after (via emails and phone calls), I was blown off, told he couldn't take my calls, then told they couldn't cut holes that small (though another counter company easily cut those small holes for me later). I suppose the job wasn't big enough for they, but it was disrespectful and a waste of my time and money to only do it halfway and refuse to help. NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL!

  • Cost was very well laid out and more than fair for the quality of work. Came highly recommend from other trusted professionals that also use this company. Attention to our desires and design was a big plus. Attention to detail and build quality was high. The join was a custom shower that required demo and reconstruction and tile.

  • Zach provided an almost immediate appointment and the team arrived precisely at the scheduled time. This was a small job but required a skilled craftsman to complete. Every precaution was taken to eliminate the mess that you expect from any remodel so the residue needing clean up was minimal. His price was more than fair for the work involved so much so that I happily paid a little extra for their services. I was shown a portfolio of his previous work in case I wanted to replace my countertop in the future. Before hiring Access Granite numerous vendors in the area were contacted and I was quickly brushed aside since the job was small. Expecting to hear the same when I contacted Zach, I was completely surprised when he agreed to perform the work. His firm has now become my "go to" place for future remodeling needs. In summary, this was a smooth, efficient, speedy, and didn't break the bank transaction that I've not experienced in a very long time. Thanks Zach for restoring my confidence in home improvement tradesmen.

  • Zach and his team were great to work with. We used them for quartz countertops in our kitchen and a bathroom. They were very responsive, provided excellent consultation when needed and did an overall excellent job. I would definitely hire again.

  • I was replacing 2 old metal doors that were not a standard size, so they came up with a way to install the new standard doors cutting into the floor without having to cut them down, which would have marred the doors, while the floor is not in view. Quick thinking and fine work. Jack also found the granite to match my kitchen countertops for a newer pass-through and installed it. He went back and forth to the granite shop multiple times due to issues and persisted in getting it right until he could install the granite, which looks gorgeous!

  • Amazing final results. Lissette has an incredible gift for design, and creating beauty. In addition to removal and installation of completely new kitchen, She offered suggestions for other ways to enhance the remodeling of my 60-year old traditional ranch home in Sandy Springs. I did almost 100% of what she suggested and the results are amazing, based on the view of everyone who has seen the finished project.

  • I loved my patio and firepit until the poor installation workmanship showed through. The patio has sunk in several place causing water to pool up and start to discolor the product. The grout application they use only last for around a year before it starts to come out and looks terrible. I have reached out to the owner for months via call, emails and texts and have received a response. Would highly caution anyone to use this product.

  • Bathroom turned out fantastic! We needed to completely renovate the bathroom before putting it on the market to sell. The rest of our home had been renovated except for this last room. We picked out all the material and Avatar did all the labor including supplying the marble counter tops and the shower door. We needed to do the jobs in 3 weeks or less so we could list our house before we closed on our new home. Jacob, the project manager, was able to start the job on Feb. 5th and finish it on Feb. 23rd. We listed the house on Feb. 25th, it sold on Feb. 26th and we closed on our new home on Feb. 27th!!! The new remodel of the bathroom was definitely a contributing factor in how quickly the home sell. Every potential buyer commented on how nice it was and we were very pleased with how it turned out. The tile workers were extremely skilled and fast. They worked on the weekend to finish the job and they knocked out an entire shower, the bathroom floor and mosaic tile in 2 and half days. I wanted to keep the cost down for the job, so I did the demolition myself, did the trim paint and then installed the light fixtures and some of the plumbing fixtures myself. Jacob was accommodating in revising cost estimates to allow me to do some of the work. Very professional and courteous company who cares about customer satisfaction. I would highly recommend them!

  • This is the company that the contractor, who remodeled our master bathroom, used. I do not know what relationship the contractor had with this company, but we did not find them helpful. The woman we dealt with was not helpful in terms of costs and would not send us pictures via email even though we were told that there were pictures we could view and it was not a problem. Her standard response was I have been advised not to discuss or quote prices. This was her response to questions that had nothing to do with price or cost. As for the quality of the marble product, we found it only fair as there were some imperfections. For what we were charged we expected much better. We would not use this company again even if there was no other supplier in the area. We would just use different materials.

  • After researching countertop companies on Angies List, I visited about a dozen showrooms in the Atlanta metro area. After considering the various surface products, I settled on granite. The reason I chose to work with AA Marble and Granite was their selection of granite, how knowledgeable they were, their professionalism, and their ability to install a particularly long piece (the sink side of my kitchen is 124 inches long) of granite. I have owned houses in the metro area for 34 years, and AA Marble and Granite is one of the best companies I have ever worked with. There goal is to make you happy with your purchase, and they work closely with you from beginning to end. They also have great referrals for other work you might need done like new tile on your walls, flooring, etc.
