  The entire process (initial meeting, measuring, installation) went well. They showed us a good variety of window blinds/coverings. The installer was very good - working very quickly. The only snags that happened were that one window was missed. It wasn't included on the proposal/quote and we didn't catch it ahead of time. The installer had an old one that we used until the new one came in. And one blind was manufactured with the pull on the wrong side. It had to be reordered. They also provided all the necessary info so we could get rebates on some of the blinds.

  I purchased a top-down/bottom-up window covering from blindsgalore for my living room window.  The one that came with the house was shot.  I found their prices to be very reasonable.  I made a mistake on my online order, switching the width and height.  I called them and they offered to send me the correct size.  I paid about $17 postage to return the blind to them but did not have to pay any extra for a replacement blind.  the woman who helped me was very friendly and professional.  The window covering works perfectly.

  The Abstract Painting Company

  They were suppose to replace the windows the first time but they did not. So we called them and told them that we were unhappy and did not complete the job as the contract had stated and they came out and replaced them. He is fine. I problem wont want to use him again. I thought the price was high and he did not do the job the first time. The quality of work was good. He was professional.

  The Superior Finish

  Sue came to the home, measured the windows, made suggestions . I met with her the next day at her business, selected the type of blinds that I needed, got a quote which was very reasonable, ordered the blinds. I was very pleased with the professionalism. Sue has been in business for years and it shows, she is very good at the selections and listening to what you want and finding that product for you. I will definitely us Superior Finish again.

  I serched for other Hunter Douglas representative and found one in Hendersonville, Carolina Blinds Outlet. They came immediately and did an excellent job . He showed up on the agreed time to take measuments and sent the quote the next day. I placed the order. Curtains were installed with outmost care and precision. I cannot say enough good things about Carolina Blinds Outlet. They were terrific. Blinds and Design, watch out!

  Bill is great.  He goes totally by word of mouth.  I would recommend him highly.  He does custom window treatments residential and commercial.  I am not sure about the price, but it's probably going to be 200 or 300 dollars.  He can fix broken blinds and make them work.  He is always reliable and he is very pleasant.

  Went to the storefront and told them that we wanted to order mini-blinds. The clerk did a rough estimate of about $600 for what we wanted installed then set up an appointment for a measurement. The owner came out and persuaded us to go with faux wood blinds as they are more up to date and would be about the same price as the mini-blinds. She then sent us a quote for about $1,260 that was presented as a discounted price. When we questioned how that equated to the mini-blind price, she came back with a budget product that does not allow the configuration we wanted nor the lifetime warranty.  That prompted us to go to the internet for product/pricing.  We found many brands that offered exactly what we wanted at a fraction of the cost:  $480 versus the $1,261 Hunter Douglas price.  So unless you are completely sold on the Hunter Douglas brand, we suggest searching elsewhere for an equivalent product.

  Doug's Installation Service

  Doug did an overall outstanding job. He is punctual, accurate in all measurements and honest in his advice of what will or will not work for a specific window treatment. He approaches the job with professionalism and efficiency. He is very respectful of the home and it's occupants. He takes pride in leaving the work area clean. He removed all the packing box's. We appreciated his outstanding customer service and the fact that when he schedules an appointment he sticks to the schedule. We will use him again in the future as we proceed with the remodel project.
  
  Over the years I've had experience with other window treatment installers. Doug Edward's is the best.

  BUDGET BLINDS

  The original franchise that installed them is no longer in existence. I have been trying to contact the new franchise about having the cord repaired. I'm not sure if the cord is still under warranty or not and even if it isn't I would still like the cord to be repaired, but they will not return my calls. I have emailed the national office as well and they have not responded. I have left messages asking how to get the cord repaired or even how to do it myself, but they still will not respond.

  Fantastic. We found Blinds and Us in Angie's List, met a representative at a local home show, visited the showroom, and then had Karen come out for the consultation/quote. Everything was perfectly smooth, no problems with the order or installation at all. Blinds and Us has a good financial program as well that we are taking advantage of.
