    Baker Roofing Company
Today is Sunday, Feb 9 and Baker Roofing was at our building helping us figure out what our 113 year old building in downtown Asheville was leaking. They took the time to go on the roof and found out that the roof they put on was sound. Next, they went up the side of the building and sound a brick missing in the wall which was allowing the water to come in. This is not their wheel house, but they foamed and caulked the hole and ended our problem that has been going on for some time. No one else could find the problem. Baker Roofing has stood by us for 4 years. They are an honest and reliable company and enjoyable to work with.

    Gutter Helmet of WNC
Excellent work. Showed up as promised. Job completed quickly and efficiently. Thorough and ongoing clean-up. Of special concern was damage to extensive foundation plantings. They were VERY careful about that and there was NO appreciable damage.

    John McClung Roofing
Super. This was our first experience with John McClung Roofing & we knew it was a minor job, thankfully. Jesse came out and took a look, and was able to use sealant to resolve. He also shared his opinion on the current roof condition & we will be able to anticipate our future needs. Thank you Jesse!

    ADLER ROOFING INC
The crew was diligent. hard working and professional. I have a 3600 sf single story home with both attached and detached garages, so it was a reasonably large job. The waste was removed from the yard and driveway daily and the new roofs look fabulous. In the middle of the re-roofing we had a scare from Hurricane Dorian and the crew came out to secure stacks of tile already on the roof and to remove other supplies and plywood to keep them from projectiles. I'm very pleased with the job done.

Global Roofing & Construction Services LLC
You have dream home you envision? Are you looking for an ethical and benevolent business team, whose first mission is to listen to you and make your dream come true? Im a young professional who bought a 41 foot fifth wheel trailer to live in full-time. I have a budget to make my trailer look like the home I always wanted. And that is when I found Global Roofing & Construction Services LLC, Buddy and Alicia Evans, the owners. Or should I say, they found me? It was a perfect match. Here is why. When Buddy and Alicia came out to look at my trailer, they came prepared with time to hear me out and look at my trailer and take measurements. The first thing Buddy said to me was assuring and heartfelt, Stephanie, you tell us your details and we will quote you and make it right. Don't leave anything out. I hired Bobby and Alicia to gut the trailer fixed furniture and paint everything in an off white color. That was my goal when hired them. They offered me a quote and we talked it over with fine details. They were super patient, understanding and explained all they enumerated items for me on the quote. I left that day without a doubt or questions and their timeline was spot on. I slept well that night knowing I was in most competent hands. I picked the paint and they gave me a seal of approval because they knew a special paint was required to stick to the walls and existing left over interior infrastructure. We came upon a situation that nobody could have foresee. The paint didnt stick right. Buddy and Alicia, with 20 years of experience knew to contact their specialist, who said that there was an added chemical we needed, a specialized primer for this sort of surface (specialized for RVs), which had to be added and kept on for two days. Wonderful. The team went back and made it look like a million dollars. The paint is sticking and it will outlast the trailer. See the pictures. I was so pleased with their responsiveness by phone and text and in person and given the trifecta, their work screams quality. I knew I could not go wrong hiring them to lay the flooring too, which I did. When they found the floor I wanted, they even offered some variations to give me more choices and samples. They were excited to find that I actually was swayed in awe when they shared a better quality floor with me. We gave each other a high-five and I knew that they were infected by my joy and felt the same joy in this business partnership. We found rotten wood in the trailer from a leak. I had a mild cranial inversion but Buddy and Alicia were ahead of the game and said, Stephanie, we got this. I have our best carpenter come out to look at the existing damage and we will take it from there. Another bid/quote? Of course. But Im getting the right people to get the right job done. At no time did they hide the fact of damage to lay the floor. Oh no, they know exactly what they are doing. More to come. Nowadays, there are so many choices and to find the right fit is almost luck. If you want a family owned business whose mission is to have your needs exceeding your needs, I only recommend calling Buddy and Alicia. They can be contacted at globalroofing2@gmail.com or by cell: 828-772-4431. They do it all, roof repairs and leaks, carpentry and a fine job at it. Thank you both and your team so so much for making my dream come true.

    Gutters plus
Fantastic and I was extremely impressed with the professionalism of James and his crew!!! I will admit I was VERY dismayed when they first drove up, as their appearance was not such that you would have thought they were professionals. I was worried that I had made an awfully bad choice.. But as the day proceeded and I was able to sit back and watch how they worked I have to say, first impressions were NOT lasting and any hesitation I had in the beginning was easily overcome by their work ethic. They completed a long list of things that day and what they couldnt finish they came back the next and wrapped up. Very communicative and always in touch letting me know whats going on. Prices were more than reasonable. You cannot go wrong having them do work for you!

    Easy Way Home Services
I found this company for my senior friend. He was able to come out later the same day. He let me know when that he was running late - a flat tire, I think. My friend was very pleased with his work, and asked him to come back to replace some lights in her kitchen. He did, the next day, and she was happy with that service as well. She said she'd be confident using him again. I think the gutters 3500 sf house and garage was $139. with an additional $70 for the kitchen lights parts and labor. The gutters were less than what was quoted on the phone, because she had gutter guards. He also called me after he had completed the job for my friend, to let me know what he did and how it went.

DO NOT HIRE!! They do not guarantee their work, and when you find out they did a crappy job, they do not return calls/email/formal complaints. I have filed a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau regarding this business. They have yet to return any of my emails/calls/or respond to BBB despite multiple attempts. I hired Alicia and Buddy Evans (the owners of the company) to complete roof repairs and internal repairs from a roof puncture and water damage. Every conversation I had was with them directly to discuss what I expected. Not only did they do a terrible job of the internal repairs (photos provided) but more shocking is that they left the ROOF UNFINISHED and the home open to more water damage! We decided to sell the house several weeks after they "completed" repairs and during the required OFFICIAL home inspection it was found that this company had left over a hundred externally nailed shingles in place (these shingles should have been replaced completely). Additionally, the damaged ridge cap, vent and drip edge were not replaced or addressed. They literally fixed a small puncture and left everything else untouched, and ultimately left the roof/home susceptible to more water damage. On top of all this, they charged me more than their initial estimate. Initial estimate: $4,380.00 Total paid: $4,671.36 Ultimately, in order to sell the house we had to have two other companies come in and redo the drywall and paint job, and reputable roofing company to actually fix the roof. Which added $4,000 to what I had already paid Global Roofing & Construction Services after they ran away with the money I paid them for crappy work. Overall I paid DOUBLE what Global Roofing & Construction Services estimated because they left the roof unfinished and completed the interior repaired below standard. Here is the on-going timeline of my attempt to get restitution from this company. As of now they refuse to acknowledge/respond to any complaint: 8/10/19: Emailed (our realtor took pictures to show internal repairs were unacceptable) 9/9/19: Called and left a message to discuss their work 9/9/19: Emailed to follow-up 9/11/19: Better Business Bureau (BBB) Complaint filed (case #553997) 9/19/19: BBB 1st deadline company did not respond 10/1/19: BBB emailed to state they made several attempts to contact this company and received no response Keep in mind I have phone records to correlate financial transactions to this company, photos, and an official home inspection report to prove they didn't do the work I hired them to do. I have posted photos of the drywall/sheetrock job they completed. Our realtor took these photos to show the terrible workmanship. I instructed them that I would like each of the small walls painted entirely so that there wouldn't be a line between the old paint and new paint. Look at the "finished work: the sanding job is not at all smooth or consistent with the adjacent walls. Notice the metal of the corner bead is visible where the drywall mud is too thin and no paint is covering. I had specifically asked that the new paint be rolled out on each small wall for color continuity; that clearly didn't happen either. The brand new baseboard that they installed and painted has black screws visible; no spackling or paint to cover. Additionally there is a big splotch of wall paint on the fresh trim as well. Now, take your attention toward the ceiling; they mentioned to me that they didn't find any paint in the house to match the ceiling, and so I assumed that they had gone out and matched the ceiling paint and my bill would be a little higher. No... they just left the darker paint or drywall mud in a big splotch on the ceiling instead of clarifying with me about purchasing more paint. Oh, but wait! There's more! It appears that there are globs of drywall mud just hanging out along the ceiling that have not been sanded down. I have NEVER in my life seen such terrible workmanship! I feel that they purposefully deceived me when they sent me a photo from a distance where the details couldn't be seen. In my opinion this is not the company you want working on your property. I initially found this company through Angie's list and contacted them through that messaging service. I have even reviewed this company on Angie's list and still have received no reply from them. Additional reviews can be found on Google of other individuals who have had less than optimal interactions with this company and are worth researching. If you decide to hire this company I would ask if they guarantee their work. In my experience, they do not. This review reflects my personal opinion and experience with this company.

    Best Roofing Company
Best did a large job removing old roof and installing all new shingles. Outcome exceeded expectations. Quote extremely thorough and very well explained. Forman double checked everything and did numerous small fixes to make sure roof was in perfect condition when done. Workers were punctual and cleaned up nicely.

    LeafFilter Gutter Protection
I contacted Leafilter to get an estimate for new gutters. They said they could send someone to give me an estimate at 5pm. The first thing the estimator said was to ask what I do for a living. I told him I was retired (Navy). He said that that was a pretty good pension (this set off my scam detector). He measured the outside of the house (more of a guestimate at best), then we went inside so he could work up his estimate (or so I thought). Instead of an estimate he ran through a sales pitch that took approximately 45 minutes. He then started to work up an estimate (he still wasn't sure what height the gutters were and asked me). After about 20 minutes of figuring he told me 7900 dollars. Then he immediately offered discounts down to 5000. I thanked him for the estimate and told him I would contact him if I decided to use his company. He said that he didn't work with estimates from other companies and came down in price to about 4500. I again told him I needed to get estimates from at least two other companies. He again dropped the price to 3500 and I insisted that I need at least 3 estimates to make a decision. Then he dropped it to 3100. I told him I could not make a decision without further estimates then he said "It's all about the money. This is bull$%*#. He then said he would give to two days to accept his lowest price. I handed him his equipment and escorted him out the front door. I will not be useing LeafFilter.
