" and his crew arrived on time. They courteous and professional in manner. Work was completed in one and one half hours and the result was" much to my satisfaction. At issue was a tree that needed . I can now move ahead without worry about ownership.

" Mills and surveyed my home property of which there are three lots, the charge. The lots have" many and turns and after having read and 's credentials on their website, I knew these were the folks I wanted doing the work. They were meticulous and cut no corners, extremely professional (and patient, I shadowed asking many questions along the way) and absolute gentlemen. All corners were marked and linear (lot line) indicators (stakes) placed where requested where line of sight from corner to corner was blocked by elevation or some obstacle. The survey included a physically executed tie-in (using instruments) to the applicable NGS Geodetic marker for the area (some four blocks away, it was amazing to watch them make their way up the street with instruments). I was given copies (24" x 36" printout) of the survey when completed. The records on file at the Buncombe County Registrar of were reviewed and tightened up where needed. This is the team to use, I am extremely satisfied in all respects with the work and service and provided.

This is Kyle K from Member Care. I'm happy to help!

I looked through our database to find providers to assist you, but I'm sorry to say we don't currently have options in your area.
We like to offer members at least three options for their projects, so when this happens we are happy to offer the services of our Local Research Department. They will search outside of our database to track down some options for you. Because these providers won't be rated by members, it will be difficult to determine intangibles like reliability, price, expertise and other things that can be found on member reviews. However, we want to help you find a place to start with your project. Please allow a couple of business days for them to follow up with their findings.
Since you cannot find the corner markings, maybe the $300-400 range. It may be they can find them with a metal detector - usually 1/2" steel rebar with a marker wood stake next to it, with or without an identifying cap, though the stakes tend to go away. If yours cannot be found then they can hopefully find ones at your neighbor's lots and come off there, or pick up survey points in the street.
Search the List (in green banner bar) for local land surveyors, ratings, and reviews.

Land Surveying reviews in Asheville

I requested the services of to identify my property lines, and to provide the necessary survey (and set-back) information needed to build an addition.
, of , was prompt with returning all of my emails and calls. While confirming my appointment, was ...More friendly and professional. He asked for clarification of my needs, and he made a point to express what surveying services would/could be provided. He also directed me to his website to view a sample of his work. Prior to my appointment, perused our property, and gave us an estimate for his services. Though I was initially disappointed that I had to wait a while before he was available to do the survey, I soon understood why.
is exceptionally knowledgeable and thorough. On the day of my appointment, he arrived at my home, confirmed my expectations for the survey, and then he went straight to work. answered all of my impromptu questions with patience, and he gave me informative explanations about the markers placed on our property.
After taking the care and time to collect the necessary information, and (even) through some thick brush to place the appropriate markers and stakes, spoke with me once again to tell me when I should expect my survey.
Within a couple of days--a very quick turn-around--I received my survey (as promised) in the electronic format requested by my draftsman, and I received the "hard copy" of the survey a short time after.
I am very pleased with the survey I received from , and I would definitely recommend to others.

was punctual, up front about his price, and very professional in every sense of the word. The easement survey was quickly finished and the price was fantastic. Highly recommend if you have any surveying work to be completed.
- Joe M.

I called after 6pm and he got back to me the same night. And he was able to the corners of my property the next day (which he said is not something he's normally able to do so fast). His price was half that of the other guy who I got a quote from.

I chose based on its reviews on Angie's list after a previous surveyor (recommended by a friend) let me down.
was quick and efficient. He took just a week from my contacting him to doing the job. He surveyed my property -- which is in an old neighborhood and therefore potentially fraught with ...More difficulty finding old markers placed up to 100 years ago, etc. -- in less than one day. One follow-up day required 1/2 hour of work placing markers.
Communication was excellent; did what he said he would do, when he said he would do it. If something came up and he had a delay (1 day in my case), he promptly called me to reschedule.
has a cheery attitude and was friendly with me and my neighbors while he conducted his work.
The product was excellent: clear and prompt . I had a plat (paper and electronic version) of my property within about 2 days of starting the survey.
Price was $50.00 or more less than the quotes I had received from other surveyor companies.
Stellar job and great value. Very highly recommended.

I called on 3 October for services to be performed and was told they would be performed "at the end of next week". I called again 5 days later to be sure that they understood what exactly I needed, and sent them an email with supplemental information they requested. They said they understood, were courteous on the phone, but I have not heard ...More back from them since (over a month ago). Bottom line is I can't comment on the quality of their work, just that they didn't follow through on what they said they would do. I understand that people are busy and can't always meet their obligations on time, however I think it is reasonable to expect that if someone can't do the work or do the work on time that they communicate. I have since received service from another provider who has been prompt in communication and performed excellent service.
- steven B.

Excellent company to work with. Prompt courteous. Excellent work and well priced.
Would recommend any time.

I called Mr. inquiring about the cost of a survey, he took my address and info and said he would need to research and would call me back with a quote. He called me the next day with the quote, which was a little better than others I had received. We set up a date within 10 days for him to come out and perform the survey. ...More He was there on time and worked for several hours. It turned out our property had not had a survey in years and some of our corner markers were missing. Mr. informed me he would need to do some more research and would have to come back out another day. He asked me if I was in a hurry for the results and I advised him I was not. He came back 2 weeks later and staked the corners of our property. Within a week I received our map by mail. Everything appears as I expected and I am happy with his work. I would definitely recommend him to others.
- Joel B.

Well, there was a slight dispute regarding the property line. All parties were present. did a great job. He has excellent customer service skills and manage the situation with finesse. My neighbors intend to use his services as well. I highly recommend him. Thank goodness I got him. This prevented a street and drive ...More from being built on my property.
