I called the flower shop to advise them of the situation. I spoke with some woman who advised me that their driver had to go to the emergency room for some reason & was not available. But, I could bring the arrangement in to their shop & they would 'look at it'. I advised her that I did not have time to bring in this arrangement for them 'to look at', 'The owner is not here & this is what I was advised to tell you we could do........end of conversation
About 35-40 minutes later, I got a call back & this same woman said they would just come pick it up. I asked if they were going to fix the arrangement & bring it back or just what was the resolution going to be? She said that she did not know, 'the owner is not here". I advised this woman that I was not going to let the arrangement be picked up unless I had some assurance that it would be returned simply because it was a Limited Edition Provider name locked. . She said again that she was told that they could just pick it up.
So my reply was that if they could send someone out to pick it up, just send 3 or 4 of those fresh little sprigs of small red roses & we'll put them in place of the dead ones. She said 'Oh, the driver doesn't know how to do that" I said don't worry about that because my wife was in the flower shop business before & had also put in 10 years in the floral department at The Biltmore Estate which is right here in Asheville, NC If you can just do that we'll call it good. Once again, "the owner is not here".
About 45 minutes or so, their driver showed up to pick up the arrangement but the driver could not give any assurance as to what the outcome was going to be. He said " I can call the owner for you & you can talk to him".
I was on the phone with my brother who had placed the order from Florida & I got a call waiting signal. It was the owner who basically blessed me out without giving me the opportunity to have any say, wished me a nice Christmas & hung up one me.
My brother made a complaint with Teleflora & I made one as well. Teleflora said that they would be working to get a replacement sent out to us.
Regardless of what Provider name locked. may say, this is EXACTLY how it all happened.
I don't know if this shop is under new management or not but we have had deliveries in the past from this same shop but have never received such unprofessional service. Needless to say, it's the last.

With a funeral pending, and upon my recommendation, a relative from Los Provider name locked. contacted Provider name locked. to provide a floral arrangement to the church. Both time of service and address of the church were provided to Provider name locked. at this time. This contact was quite specific and involved both emails and phone calls.
The floral arrangement never arrived at the funeral service. The day after the funeral I contacted the pastor of the church to see if it had arrived late. The floral arrangement never arrived.
I spoke personally with Provider name locked. today. According to her, the floral arrangement was delivered to the funeral home, who was asked to take it to the church. It never arrived.
This problem is currently unresolved. I feel that Provider name locked. was contracted to deliver the flowers to the church, at a minimum payment should be refunded and an apology made. Neither has been offered to date.
I have been a customer of Provider name locked. for fourteen years, and have never hesitated to recommend her to others. I am disappointed not only in her asking a third party (the funeral home) to fulfill her duty, but also with her reluctance to make it right.
12/12/2014: This problem has been adequately resolved. Payment was refunded.- TANYA G.
Ordered the flowers just fine, but they delivered immediately, rather than the next week as I had specified.
They acknowledged their mistake, and offered a refund of the delivery charges to make up for it. $11 is NOT enough to fix the ruined surprise I had planned for my wife's birthday. To quote the lady on the phone "I've been trying to look at the dates more often, but I guess I missed yours." I'm pretty sure the date is a big deal in the world of flower delivery, so that is not a small mistake to make.
I eventually received credit of my total order to be used in the future. Needless to say, outside of this credit, I will NEVER be using this florist again.- Kevin G.
