I called Provider name locked. on 8/11/2015 to repair the broken spring on my garage door. I asked him for a ballpark figure for what it would cost to replace the spring and he told me $75 for the service charge and labor and $100 to $150 for the spring depending on which spring I needed. I was surprised because when I had the other spring replaced 3 years ago the company that did it charged me $475. I'm always a bit leery when I hear a price on something that is way lower than what I expect it to cost so I researched the price on garage door springs and realized I really got ripped off the last time I needed this done.
He told me he could be there the next morning at 8:30. He showed up nearly 8:30 on the dot. Provider name locked. was very professional with a neat and clean truck. He looked at the door and told me he could take care of the spring but that he would also recommend that I replace the old rollers on the door. He said that the rollers were old steel rollers and he suggested new teflon/nylon rollers. My door is 10 years old so I thought it's probably a good idea. I felt that Provider name locked. knew what he was talking about and I did not feel like he was trying to upsell me. Good call on the rollers. This door has never operated this smooth. Provider name locked. told me it would take about an hour and he was done in 55 minutes.
Overall I am extremely pleased with the service, price and quality of work. Provider name locked. is a family run business and it is great to do business with someone who cares about the quality of their work and offers a more than fair price.

I purchased the service for door and window winterization on January 12, 2015. We had finally settled on a date to the work on February 6th. Up until that point communication with Provider name locked. was fine. The company did not show up on the appointment date of February 6th. I left a voice mail asking to reschedule. There was no response to the voicemail, so I sent multiple messages via Angie's List -on February 10th, February 12th and February 15th asking Provider name locked. Services I also called one more time and left a voice mail.
I have received no contact at all since January 22. In my last message, I notified Provider name locked. that if they did not contact me by February 17th then I would have no option but to give negative feedback and contact Angie's list for options for redress. I am disappointed that the vendor has chosen not to contact me ... I would have been happy to reschedule after the first missed appointment since I know things do come up..

Took knockdown off ceilings. Grossly underestimated the cost of the project. Left it in rough shape,leaving me having to hire someone to finish their work and clean up their mess. Tons of dust in carpets and in duct work. While they put plastic up, it wasn't enough for the work done. Didn't deliver items paid for. Kept cash card to buy kitchen cabinets and didn't deliver them. We paid to have beadboard installed on porch ceiling and they put it up backwards - smooth side out. He told me it would be too busy with the beaded side out. I told him he wasn't to override my design. He was hired to put lattice under the porch for a finished look. He nailed it to the outside of the porch. Truly unlike anything I've ever seen. He has refused to correct either mistake. Left debris, food, trash at work sites. Hires people as day workers, even though I was assured he only used people he personally worked with for years. Was introduced to this company by someone who had used them 1x. After this experience and seeing the shoddy work they did, my friend has discontinued using them for his business. There are bad workers out there; however, this experience was not only bad because of the work but also the lack of professionalism. Took our money. Stole a cash card. Didn't complete contracted work. And what work they did wasn't up to industry standards. I chose 'fair' for the price because if the job had been done correctly, it would have been a fair price. The price for the work he did is lousy.
