    In His Time Appliance Repair
Terry was great - extremely professional and knowledgeable. We are slowly building a list of trusted professionals that we can call when something with our home goes wrong. In His Time definitely made that list.

    In His Time Appliance Repair
Great experience. Mr Wilson arrived at 8:30 the morning after I called him, quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem. Very personable guy. If I ever have large appliance trouble again, he's our man. I recommend him without qualification.

    Peterson's Appliances
This refrigerator / freezer is 18 years old, but it's a HUGE unit (48" across 8' tall) and was built in. It looks like new and knowing Mr. Peterson's capabilities, I opted to have him repair the unit as opposed to buying a replacement at a cost of $8,800. (a no-brainer). He replaced the leaking evaporator but the new part was defective (lost all the refrigerant the next day). He ordered a replacement, shipped it overnight $50. and completed the job again. He would only allow me re-pay him for the expedited shipping. He saved us a LOT of money by fixing our old refrigerator.

They missed the first appointment and were running late on the reappointment. I called and told them to forget it. There was minimal contact with me regarding the status of my appointments. I had heard they do good work, but they seem very disorganized.

    Appliance Zen
I called Appliance Zen for a problem with my inoperative, stove fan. I also had a problem with my microwave, that would often shutdown, unexpectedly, when it was running. The serviceman/owner, Sebastian visited and diagnosed the problems. The fan needed a simple off/on switch replaced. The microwave needed some inexpensive parts replaced. I told Sebastian that I didn't want to put money into the microwave if it could not be effectively repaired and that I would prefer to put the money into a new unit. Sebastian assured me he knew what was wrong and could repair the microwave. He returned with parts and repaired both items. I believe the charge was $280. The fan switch was a basic repair and worked perfectly. The microwave worked for about two days, then began exhibiting the same problems. I called an left a message that the repair failed. I left multiple messages. My calls were not returned. When Sebastian finally returned my call, he told me that parts were difficult to find for my microwave but that he would find what was needed and return for the repair. That was almost two years ago. Sebastian took my money for a repair that I was reluctant to have done. He took my money and did not make the repair. A refund was never offered. Mr Sebastian is a personable individual. but he has some problems that involve competence, honesty and integrity. At no time was I rude or offensive in my calls to his business. I would like to point out that his administrative assistant, Mary, who mans the office phone, is one of the most pleasant business people I have ever encountered. God bless her. Nevertheless, I strongly recommend that you find another business to perform your repairs.

My oven was not working and one of the burners would not ignite. They made four trips to my home over several weeks. Parts were ordered, delays occurred, but finally I thought the job was done. I paid them over $400.00. Last night I waited 55 minutes for my oven to reach 200 degrees, then it quit. The burner still doesnt work. It would have been so much better had they told me they werent up to the job on the first visit. Call these folks at your own risk.

The folks responded to my initial request and came out to assess the problem, which was determined to be a clutch. One was put on order. An appointment was made to install the clutch. The workmen did not show up on time and when I called, there seemed to be some confusion as to what the job was and when it was scheduled for. The workmen did arrive later in the day but could not replace the clutch because of a rusted nut holding the tub, which had to be removed to install the clutch. The remedy was planned to cut out the tub, replace the clutch and then install a used tub apparently from the shop. At that point, I elected to purchase a new washer. The good: The initial estimated price for replacement of the clutch was lower than I might have expected and the service call was only $40. The people seemed knowledgeable. All personnel were polite. The not-so-good: Confusion in two instances of the appointment date/time and nature of the repair to be made. I did not feel comfortable with the solution of cutting out the old tub and replacing it with one in the shop. I had some difficulty with the communication. I would consider working with the company again, depending on the nature of the problem, but not for sure.

Mr. Peterson arrived with his helper, examined the dryer and told me that I first needed to get a handyman to install ductwork to the outside of the house before the dryer could be repaired. He was wonderful and I would surely hire him again.

    ADF Appliance Repair
Perfect visit! Adam arrived when he said he would and had all five appliances diagnosed within 10 minutes. He gave honest advice, quoted very reasonable cost for each item's repair, if repair was feasible. Repair was chosen for one item, he said he needed to order the part and would return the following day. My mother changed her mind and added two more to the repair list 15 mins after he left, I called him with that information and he agreed cheerfully. To my happy surprise, he called again several hours later, saying he had obtained the parts required earlier than expected and could return that evening, if we'd like. In short, the repairs needed for the items we chose to save (oven, washer and dryer) were diagnosed and repaired for a reasonable price within 24 hours of notification. They all are working perfectly. This is my second experience with Adam, and he remains kind, patient, knowledgable, professional and straightforward. I will no longer hire any other appliance repair company but ADF.

It didn't. I spoke to Mr. Petersen after being referred by local neighbors & he quoted me a price to fix my dryer & said he would be here at 1pm, January 5. He never showed, he didn't call & when I left him a message to see if he was going to come at almost 2pm, he never returned my call.
