He was there early and seemed knowledgeable on most things. The only thing that kept him from an A+ rating is the fact that my bf seemed to be able to pick out more issues with the home in question then the inspector in some instances. But overall he was great and professional and his reports were well detailed and easy to read.

IT WAS GREAT! Let me just say that I found Provider name locked. through a friend of a friend. I had a few inspections done in the past for other properties and they were nothing like the great experience I had with Provider name locked. . He was honest and went above and beyond what I've expected.
Provider name locked. arrived early and he was very professional. He started right away taking me along with him and his assistant. He took his time going through every part of the property from roof to the basement, every room, inside and outside of the property looking for things that need to be addressed. He took pictures, pointed out everything to me. I felt like I was getting an education on home inspection. He looked for mold, pest, water damage, air draft, electrical and structural issues, tested for air and radon, Insulation etc... He gave me a 15 page complete comprehensive report for my record for each property. He also gave me estimates on what needed fix.
I later found out that Provider name locked. had over 40 years of experience in home construction and inspection. He also is a certified home energy auditor. He will definitely have repeat business from me. I've also recommended Provider name locked. to my friends and family. My brother had already hired him to do some work. I'd recommend Provider name locked. to anyone.

Provider name locked. and his team went through both houses and explained everything that they saw. They gave me a lot of advice on caring for my home. I am pretty detail oriented and Provider name locked. told me what I needed to worry about, and what were really just cosmetics. They went out of their way to make sure that I understood everything that was being explained and everyone very easy to work with. Provider name locked. makes sure that he represents his client and no one else, which I'm not so sure realtors do. I am very pleased with the quality of Provider name locked. 's work!
Update 7-31-12: After buying the home on the second home inspection, I discovered a mice infestation in the kitchen and that the most expensive window in the house ($3000 picture window) had not been evaluated. It was broken and was bowing such that the breeze makes the shades move. There were several other minor issues that I found over time (to be expected, you can't find all the problems in a house in just a few hours), but in hindsight I was disappointed with the lack of oversight on the apprentices that Provider name locked. brought with him on the second home inspection.
I contacted Provider name locked. about the mice (which were all throughout the lower kitchen cabinets) and the broken picture window. He said that he would have a handyman come to take a look as a gesture of goodwill which I thought was very generous. Unfortunately, I never heard from the handyman or received a follow up from Provider name locked. . Provider name locked. also has a yearly home inspection that he was supposed to contact me about on the one year anniversary. I figured I would give him some time to make up for the issues on my last inspection, but as my anniversary has come and gone, I have yet to hear from him. I wish Provider name locked. spent more time on my inspection instead of letting his two apprentices do most the work on the last inspection.
I really felt and continue to feel that Provider name locked. is quite competent, but I am unhappy with his follow up and some of his apprentices less than thorough work.- Sloane K.
