"They are excellent. They are thorough and they are very smart and diagnoses. I had a tick-born infection that was unique and hard to diagnose but my doctor figured" it out within ten minutes and did a blood test to confirm. That was amazing because people go for years without figuring this out. He contacted other people, he looked at my options, and he followed up.

"I was warned when I made the appointment that I might be waiting for a long time (on the order of hours) past my appointment time to see Dr " . The reason given was that she gives every patient as much time as he/she needs and wants, so I thought this would be a fair tradeoff. When I went for my appointment, this was indeed the case; I had a 2:30 appointment and didn't see Dr until after 5. But, the last hour of my wait time, she was chatting with her previous patient in the waiting room as he was leaving (they kept inching closer to the door), when I was clearly there waiting to see her. It came across as very rude to me. I would understand if it was a medical discussion for that amount of time, but not casual chatting. During my actual appointment, Dr was very friendly and thorough in her attempts to get to know me and my situation. However, when I told her my opinion about the mindset that medication is the main/only solution to every ailment (I strongly disagree with that), she basically completely dismissed my thoughts and said "you'll have to trust that Dr. knows what she's talking about." Some people like that authoritative view from a doctor, but I am not one of them. After thinking about it later, I felt very offended by many things she said. While the physical itself was satisfactory, I left the appointment very unhappy. Her practice is in a small professional building, but the office itself is not what I would consider a suitable doctor's office. It's small, dirty, and disorganized, with old equipment and stained furniture. I did not feel comfortable at all, and this was before I had to sit and wait for over 2 hours, contemplating what I had gotten myself into. One more thing that added to the negative experience: Dr and all her nurses/receptionists were all very overweight. To me, it's a red flag when a doctor is overweight: someone who is clearly not healthy giving health advice seems vastly hypocritical.

  • I see him several times a year.  Overall I'm very satisfied with him.  I've been going to him for over twenty years and I'm very happy with him.  I think he's an excellent doctor and he's very personable.  My wife uses him also.
