    Thomas Pest Services
While having work done by a contractor Carpenter ants were found and work was stopped until they could be controlled. I called Thomas Pest Control on Monday evening. They were there to give me an estimate Tuesday morning and did the job at 2pm that same day. They spotted a bees nest and took care of that too. Bees returned and they came back and got rid of them on Thursday. Great, GREAT service.

This was a rip off. They sell you on the premium $1300 service, yet the problem does not get solved. I had critters in my wall (and still do). After they took my money, they told me it was impossible to seal my roof. They entrapped five squirrels (easy to do when you bate traps with food in the City of Albany), slopped some clear silicone on some holes then claimed they could do no more. Some of the trappers who came to the house were CREEPY (waving a squirrel in a cage at me, when I was clearly disturbed and asked him to remove it.) When I complained to the company over the phone, nothing was done. Really was a waste of $1300, no solution to my problem. They should have been honest about the roof up front but they got that money. Very disappointed with the experience AND I still have critters. Hire with caution.

They were able to remove the squirrels. However, I had stipulated that I did not want the squirrels harmed, and I was told that they would not be and only relocated. However, they set up traps that killed them and was designed to kill them. I was then told that that was the only way they do it. So, either I was deliberately misinformed in order to secure my business or the person who came to my house to do the assessment did not know what was happening "in the field."

They came about five times in about three weeks. Squirrels were running in and out of my attic. They made a hole in the siding in front of the house and they were going in and out of the attic and then they started going in and out of the home. They made an opening and they were crawling into the back porch roof and it got so bad. My son was telling me that they could chew on our wires and stuff, so I contacted Catseye and they came and set some traps. $1300 was an absolutely ridiculous, exorbitant, way-too-much money for what they did. I was really unhappy with them. They charged me an awful lot of money. I think the guy was here a total of five hours, less than an hour a day five times. They had a limit on how many squirrels they would catch. It was three, after that they would then charge me per squirrel. They didn't come back when they were supposed to. They set up traps in my backyard. I watched the squirrels run into the traps and then come back out again, so they weren't working. One day, they did come. There were three squirrels in the traps that I'd pay. They asked if I wanted them euthanized or did I want them to take them 10 miles away and let them loose and I said I'd rather have them euthanized so they don't come back. Well, they didn't do that. They probably came back because the squirrels were all back again within six months.

The staff at this company are very responsive, knowledgeable and helpful. Mark came within less than 24 hours of my call, on a Sunday, to inspect my home for critters in my attic and to remove a bird nest.  He provided helpful tips for sealing areas around the soffits and chimney to prevent future problems. I would recommend this company without hesitation and will use them for all my future needs!  Thanks again to Mark and the person who answered my call and coordinated the service !

company was very responsive, friendly.  Service went perfectly.  They answered me quickly, were attentive.  Aaron provided great information, was patient with all my questions.  Explained every step so I knew exactly what was being done and what I could do in the future.

It went very smoothly! Each day, either Aaron or Brian would come out. Aaron fixed and secured the gable vents and set the original round of traps. Brian came out on a couple of days to check the traps, taking away the squirrels that had entered the traps and replacing the traps with newly-set ones. By the end of the work, it was apparent that there were no more squirrels inside the house. Aaron came back on the last day to remove the traps permanently and repair the soffit.
Both Aaron and Brian were prompt, extremely courteous, and genuinely nice and knowledgeable people (we talked a lot about different kinds of wildlife in the area, and what we could do to mitigate the damage they were doing to the property). They both worked quickly, and the quality of the work was superb. For the first time in awhile, we feel pretty impervious to incursion by squirrels, which was driving us slightly batty (and frightening our daughter!).
Despite the price, which seems fairly high, I will definitely call Thomas the next time we need pest control services. We'd be pleased to work with Aaron and Brian again.

    BURGER 2 WILDLIFE CONTROL
He was very good. He explained everything he needed to do that he was gonna bait to keep my cats out of there. I had a raccoon and I had those little black and white guys. He took out three traps in different times and that was good. It worked out fine and nobody has been back. The price was the going rate. He was fine. He came right away and took care of things.

The initial associates spent much of their time telling us what they would not be doing rather than doing what needed to be done.
When we realized that they were "done" and had not trapped anything we called to complain and demanded a refund as there were still signs of critters in our home. They deployed their managers to our home for a more thorough inspection. They found a dead animal in a trap that their associate had missed and left behind. They found three holes in the foundation, also missed by the first team. They blocked these three holes and installed a dryer vent cap. Within 2 months of their departure we found new evidence of invasion and a huge whole in our foundation floor that both the first and second teams had missed. We ended up filling this massive hole ourselves with an entire bag of cement.
The amount that Catseye charges for their service and the tactics they use to coax you into signing their contract are what we find most appalling - they prey on your vulnerability and fear. In the end they fulfilled their contract minimally, after many arguments, threats and frustration with management and their ground team. They missed a huge hole, and surely the main area of access into our basement. For a company that claims to be the "Best of the Best!" you expect that you are going to get what you pay for. We do not feel that they lived up to their slogan. They charge way too much for services we had to fight to get, and in the end they did not even completely solve the problem as they had promised.

The price may seem steep, but I've spoken to people who have used cheaper services that were not effective.  I was thrilled with the results.
+ are great results, organic option, easy access to account information and scheduling through website.
    - can be tricky to get an appointment time that doesn't require time off from work, cost is a little high, no option for rodent only protection.  I cancelled my contract after a year as i couldn't afford the cost of the platinum service.  I never had a bug problem so couldn't justify paying $74/mo just to have someone to call should a mouse show up.
