Emily Udell, formerly a senior interactive editor for Angie's List, holds a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Chicago and a master’s degree in journalism from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism, where she graduated as one of the first McCormick Scholars.

Her professional experience includes stints with a diversity of media outlets, including the Associated Press, the Louisville Courier-Journal, Radio Prague and Punk Planet magazine. While at Angie's List, Emily covered stories of consumer complaints on services like locksmiths, florists, air duct cleaning and roofers.
