Wadsworth basement waterproofing company replaces consumer's cracked window
I hired All American Basement Waterproofing of Wadsworth, Ohio, to waterproof my basement and install six glass block windows. I noticed one of the windows cracking over the winter. I called and left a message, then waited until the cold weather broke to call again.
I spoke with the owner and the company representative I originally contacted to let them know the window was cracking on the inside and outside. They took measurements and told me they’d place an order for the window.
I didn’t hear anything for a couple of weeks, so I emailed them. They said it was still on order, and that they’d install it four days later. I asked for a day’s notice, but I haven’t heard anything since. They haven’t responded to my emails and won’t answer when I call.
I want them to replace the cracked window.

We replaced the broken window. My issue is that glass block windows don’t have a guarantee.
She says the cold weather broke the window, but if that was the case, why didn’t the other five windows I installed break? The window sits at driveway level right on the driveway. Who’s to say a rock didn’t hit it?

Have a complaint?
Our Angie’s List complaint resolution team attempts to resolve disputes between members and service providers. During this process, three outcomes can happen: Penalty Box, Resolved or Stalemate. Companies that don’t respond to a member’s complaint will be placed in the Penalty Box until they respond. A case becomes Resolved if a company addresses the complaint to the member’s satisfaction, or it becomes a Stalemate if the provider responds, but the company and the member can’t reach an agreement.
