Vista plumber issues credit for service scheduling conflict
I hired Hanna Plumbing & Supply of Vista, California, to make a minor adjustment on the toilet in a rental property.
Hanna called my tenant twice to set an appointment. The tenant canceled both appointments without my knowledge before Hanna came out. Hanna scheduled a third service call, but my tenant canceled it when they were on the way.
I telephoned Hanna to ask about the $49 I was charged for the canceled service call and requested a refund or credit. If Hanna had notified me that there was a scheduling problem with the tenant, I would have gladly let the plumber in the house. I want a $49 refund or credit toward future service.

I will send a letter giving the customer a $49 credit voucher.

Have a complaint?
Our Angie’s List complaint resolution team attempts to resolve disputes between members and service providers. During this process, three outcomes can happen: Penalty Box, Resolved or Stalemate. Companies that don’t respond to a member’s complaint will be placed in the Penalty Box until they respond. A case becomes Resolved if a company addresses the complaint to the member’s satisfaction, or it becomes a Stalemate if the provider responds, but the company and the member can’t reach an agreement.
