Upcycle Nail Polish into Mini Flower Vases

Adorable use for your old nail polish bottles.
As if you needed another excuse to buy nail polish, we've found an adorable use for your old nail polish bottles! If you have some almost-empty nail polishes in your collection, upcycle them into colorful vases with this quick DIY project.
For This Project, You'll Need:
dry or almost-empty nail polish bottle
newspaper or scrap cardboard
spray paint
twine and scissors (optional)
glitter (optional)
cotton swab
1. Remove Label
First, peel off your nail polish label. Tip: If the label doesn't come off easily, soak it in a bowl of hot water for five minutes.
2. Empty the Bottle
Pour any remaining nail polish out into your nearest trash can. Don't worry if the bottle isn't completely free of nail polish, because it will eventually dry out and be hidden.
3. Spray with Spray Paint
Place your empty nail polish bottle on top of your cardboard or newspaper and carefully coat the bottle with spray paint in the color of your choice. A few light, quick bursts should be enough to cover the bottle. Flip the bottle over on the opposite side and repeat.
4. Add Glitter and Twine (Optional)
While your spray paint is drying, quickly sprinkle glitter over the bottle for a little extra sparkle. Once the spray paint is dry, wrap twine around the neck of the bottle for decoration, securing it to the bottle by tying it in a knot and snipping off the remainder with your scissors.
5. Let The Bottle Dry Overnight
Let your new miniature vase dry overnight to make sure the nail polish inside the bottle is completely dry. To make sure, dab a cotton swab inside before filling your flower vase with water and fresh flower buds.
There's something lovely about the simplicity of a single flower in a vase this small!
Line these miniature vases along your bookshelf, windowsill, or even use them as delicate additions to a springtime table setting.
