Twin Cities car owners recommend these auto repair shops
Whether you live north in New Brighton or south in Savage, you’re looking for great service, especially with service and maintenance of your car.
Here’s the latest Post of Happiness for great service from Twin Cities auto repair shops as selected by the Angie’s List Newsroom staff.
Latuff Brothers Auto Body, St. Paul
Barbara Rice’s ride looks like new, thanks to Latuff Brothers Auto Body. “I damaged my car backing out of my own garage in the rain,” she says. “I was about to leave for a long road trip, but bumper wasn’t attached to the car. I visited their shop and the technician fastened the bumper to the car so I could travel safely. Then, I scheduled the repair for 10 days from that day. On my return to town, they repaired the dent in my fender and replaced the damaged bumper. The car looks like it is brank new.”
Glass Installers Plus, Minneapolis
Glass Installers Plus shattered Douglas Frye’s expectations. “They replaced the cracked windshield on my Ford Ranger,” he says. “There is no reason to anyone other than owner Gregg Wickland for glass work, especially auto glass replacement. He quickly gives you a quote and sticks to it. My car was in my driveway when Gregg came to my front door and I thought he was just going to let me know he arrived. To my amazement, the new windshield was all ready installed. This guy is a real pro!”
Central Avenue Auto Body, Minneapolis
Jessica Intermill is on the road again, thanks to Central Avenue Auto Body. “They fixed my car after a hit and run,” she says. “They were able to fix my car within 2 weeks of getting the estimate and it took just over a day to complete. I was able to ride the bus to and from work that day. They waited for an extra few minutes after closing time because I was running late. Their work was excellent and they even washed my car. I hope to never need a body shop again, but if I do, I’m going to Central Avenue.”
Norm’s Tire Sales, Roseville
Norm’s Tire Sales worked tirelessly on Mary Wiley’s vehicle. “I needed new tires and wheels for my new car,” she says. “First, I went to their website to design my options. The site allowed me to see what my car would look like with new tires and rims. My trusted mechanic and my friends recommended Norm’s to me. They lived up to their recommendation. The tires arrived on time, and getting them on my car was quick and painless. Everyone from sales to service was extremely professional.”
About Posts of Happiness
At Angie’s List, we regularly hear from members who are ecstatic about outstanding service received from the companies they’ve hired. We think such great service deserves recognition, which is why we feature Posts of Happiness.
We ask our members for nominations when they rate companies with A’s in every category. To qualify, a review must be at least 500 characters about a company’s actual work (not just an estimate) and members need to assure us that they’d hire again.
After a nomination, our staff selects the most outstanding stories to feature. If we choose your nomination, your review will appear in our monthly magazine and even right here on our website.
