Tree service reschedules twice for frightened fawns
Description of work: "Arborscapes removed several dead trees, and trimmed and cleaned fallen branches."
Member Comments: "Twin fawns were born in my yard the day Nathan [Morrison, the vice president] came for an estimate. He agreed to wait a month to avoid frightening the babies with machinery. On the scheduled day, the crew quietly checked trees to avoid scaring the fawns.
"When Nathan arrived, he realized they were frightened and it was dangerous to saw down trees that day. He put it off another month, when they were old enough to relocate. His schedule was wrecked, but he was gracious. When they finished, everything was left neater than before!"
Williamson says this was the third year fawns have found their way into her yard. “Our backyard is fenced, with woods and pasture around it, so it’s a good place to have them because predators can’t get near,” she says. “I’m very protective of them.”
