Tigard roofer solves problem with storm-damaged flashing

I had hired Homemasters of Tigard, Oregon, to put a roof on my house. Six months later, some of the flashing came off after a bad storm.

When the employee came out to fix the flashing, he said he didn’t have the right materials and would have to come back to complete the work. Since then, I’ve called them numerous times and they still haven’t returned to fix the flashing.

Every time I call, they have a different excuse for why they cannot come out or schedule. I want them to repair the flashing or pay for someone else to fix it.

Our new production manager had to track down the special metal used on this job to wrap the barge board. We should have communicated with the customer more frequently as to the reason for the delay in repairing the metal that blew off.
