These St. Louis plumbers really save the day
Whether you live over in St. Charles or in Kirkwood, as a St. Louis homeowner, you’re looking for great service, especially with your plumbing needs and emergencies.
Here’s the latest Post of Happiness for great service from St. Louis plumbers as selected by the Angie’s List Newsroom staff.
Service while swamped
Linda Carter is plumb pleased with the service of All Purpose Sewer and Drain of St. Louis. They checked on a slow drain; replaced a vanity, faucet and supply lines; and tweaked some past plumbing jobs that others had done incorrectly. “Owner Roger Bates made time for me even though he was swamped with frozen pipes,” she says. “I am very happy with the work and will use him again. I’m also recommending him to my friends and family. He even brought treats for my two dogs to make friends with him.”
Saving the dinner party
Precision Plumbing Solutions of O’Fallon, Mo. saved Burton Lee’s dinner party. “It was Saturday night, and our garbage disposal started leaking,” he says. “Precision came out within 40 minutes. The technician went out, purchased a new upgraded disposal, got back to install it and completed the work before my dinner guests arrived.
"Not only are they prompt, but they are able to come last-minute on a Saturday night," Lee says. "The service was impeccable, and they are very neat and tidy.”
Third time's a charm
After having another plumber come out twice who unsuccessfully tried to fix a leak under his kitchen sink, Matthew Goad called Lemay Plumbing of St. Louis to do the job right. “After Mike Hartmann’s visit, everything is working fine — no leaks,” he says. “He arrived on time after telling me he was on his way. I liked that he wore booties in the house and even laid out a work mat to keep my home clean. He explained everything he was doing and why without sounding condescending or like he was giving a sales pitch. While I hope I don’t need his services again, he’s the first person I’d call if I did.”
Fixing frozen pipes
Tiger Plumbing Services of Glen Carbon, Ill. helped when Stephen Arnett’s pipes froze and burst in the early hours of the morning. “I called them at 8 a.m., and they were out by 11:30 a.m., which was pretty good given that they were having trouble starting their diesel truck in the minus 10-degree weather,” he says. “The plumber corrected the issues quickly with excellent quality. He was very professional and wore floor protection over his shoes when in the house. I recommend this company and will use them again when needed.”
About Posts of Happiness
At Angie’s List, we regularly hear from members who are ecstatic about outstanding service received from the companies they’ve hired. We think such great service deserves recognition, which is why we feature Posts of Happiness.
We ask our members for nominations when they rate companies with A's in every category. To qualify, a review must be at least 500 characters about a company's actual work (not just an estimate) and members need to assure us that they'd hire again.
After a nomination, our staff selects the most outstanding stories to feature. If we choose your nomination, your review will appear in our monthly magazine and even right here on our website.
