These Seattle plumbers prompt a flood of positive reviews
Whether you live over in Redmond or south in Renton, as an Emerald City homeowner, you’re looking for great service, especially with your plumbing needs and emergencies.
Here’s the latest Post of Happiness for great service from Seattle plumbers as selected by the Angie’s List Newsroom staff.
A pro for four fixes
Erna Zelic pours out praise for Stalwart Plumbing of Seattle. “They were out for four different things. They replaced my garbage disposal, hooked up my washing machine, fixed a pipe that had burst and added an additional spigot outside,” she says. “They even came back to hook up my water heater properly because it wasn’t up to code.
"I was really pleased with them," Zelic continues. "They were efficient, professional and knew exactly what they were doing. They made suggestions, but didn’t push me to get anything done.”
A tight space
Stack Plumbing of Kirkland, Wash. flushed out Charlene Gimpel’s water pressure problems. “My water pressure was at a bare minimum and they turned it up to code,” she says. “The technician came out and he was very knowledgeable with the homes in my neighborhood. He knew he had to climb into a tiny closet to access a small crawl space door. I was betting he’d never be able to get into the space, but where there’s a will, there’s a way! He fixed it and now I have great water pressure. I’m a happy camper!”
Capping a gusher
Jake the Plumber of Seattle sealed the deal for Rosa Kendall. “I discovered water gushing out of a storage area in the back of my home,” she says. “I called Jake the Plumbing in the evening and made an appointment for the next day. When they found the source of water damage, they told me what needed to be done before starting the work. They tore down part of the wall and found the broken pipe, cut it and capped it off. They gave me ideas to prevent this from happening again. Jake the Plumber was excellent.”
A stuck popsicle stick
Sarah Bright is plumb pleased with the service provided by Drain Away Plumbing of Auburn, Wash. “The garbage disposal in my rental house was blocked and they came to clear it,” she says. “I called them and they were there the very next day. They fixed the problem very quickly. It was a popsicle stick in the garbage disposal. They noticed the air gap and the dishwasher weren’t properly installed, and that was taken care of as well. I would use these guys anytime and recommend them to anyone!”
About Posts of Happiness
At Angie’s List, we regularly hear from members who are ecstatic about outstanding service received from the companies they’ve hired. We think such great service deserves recognition, which is why we feature Posts of Happiness.
We ask our members for nominations when they rate companies with A's in every category. To qualify, a review must be at least 500 characters about a company's actual work (not just an estimate) and members need to assure us that they'd hire again.
After a nomination, our staff selects the most outstanding stories to feature. If we choose your nomination, your review will appear in our monthly magazine and even right here on our website.
