These Orlando plumbers provide unsinkable service
Whether you live up in Winter Park or in Longwood, as an Orlando homeowner, you’re looking for great service, especially with your plumbing needs and emergencies.
Here’s the latest Post of Happiness for great service from Orlando plumbers as selected by the Angie’s List Newsroom staff.
Giving up on DIY
Candy Barrows got a sweet deal when Modern Plumbing Industries of Winter Springs, Fla. provided excellent service repairing a leaky pipe in her laundry room. “My husband tried to fix it for hours, but we finally decided to call a plumber,” she says. “We decided to go with Modern Plumbing based on great reviews.
"The plumber arrived at my house early and ready to fix my troubles," Barrows says. "He did an unbelievable job, diligently and carefully working inside the house. He is a hard worker and knows his job! I will definitely use them again if the need arises in the future.”
Beyond a new water heater
Spegal Plumbing of Apopka, Fla. restored the hot water in Michael Cole’s house. “I called them about my 13-year-old water heater being broken,” he says. “They called shortly before arriving and got to work immediately. The water heater was replaced. They cleaned up after themselves and hauled the old water heater away.
"During the installation, they gave me a lot of information and showed me how to operate the water heater," Cole says. "I would recommend these guys to anyone with plumbing needs.”
'Stuck on Step 1b'
Becky Raines thought she could fix her own screeching toilet after some Google searches and drinking a pitcher of overconfidence. “I got stuck on Step 1b, so I decided to call Dragon Plumbing [of Apopka] to see if they could come out and finish the job,” she says. “They actually had to replace the toilet. The technician was in and out in about an hour.
"The work was fast and efficient," Raines says. "I will definitely use Dragon for any future plumbing needs. They were fantastic!”
3 options for a mini-geyser
Nancy Seeley woke up on a Sunday morning to discover a soaking wet living room carpet. Luckily, she found Five Star Plumbing Service of Sanford, Fla. to remedy the situation. “He cut through the drywall in two spots, and sure enough, there was a mini-geyser coming from a pipe in the wall,” she says. “He gave me three options: put a patch on it, replace the pipe or replumb the home. I chose the quick fix for now so that I could at least turn the water back on. I will be doing a full replumb later this year.”
About Posts of Happiness
At Angie’s List, we regularly hear from members who are ecstatic about outstanding service received from the companies they’ve hired. We think such great service deserves recognition, which is why we feature Posts of Happiness.
We ask our members for nominations when they rate companies with A's in every category. To qualify, a review must be at least 500 characters about a company's actual work (not just an estimate) and members need to assure us that they'd hire again.
After a nomination, our staff selects the most outstanding stories to feature. If we choose your nomination, your review will appear in our monthly magazine and even right here on our website.
