These Milwaukee dentists prompt member praise
Whether you're up in Whitefish Bay or over in Brookfield, you’re looking for great service, especially regarding your family’s dental care.
Here’s the latest Post of Happiness for great service from Milwaukee dentists as selected by the Angie’s List Newsroom staff.
Crowing about her crown
Bay View Dental Care of Milwaukee gave Carrie Sweeney the royal treatment. “I had a basic dental check up, and then a couple weeks later I needed a crown reattached,” she says. “Both visits were great experiences. The front office staff greeted me promptly, and then reviewed my insurance coverage before the exam, so only those items covered were done. The technicians were unique, quirky and fun, but competent. The dentist was pleasant and knowledgeable.
"From the exam, there was no work needed," she says, "but she did note various teeth that needed to be watched, so I felt she did a thorough exam. I was especially pleased to be able to get in to get my crown reattached.”
A family affair
Jay Kabelowsky and his family are all smiles, thanks to Dr. Therese Pickart of Milwaukee. “I went for my six-month checkup, and I was looking for a new dentist,” he says. “My wife and two kids also see Dr. Pickart. We can’t say enough good things about Dr. Pickart.
"My wife and oldest daughter started seeing her a few years ago, after my wife had a bad experience with another dentist," he explains. "They loved her from the start! She has a separate playroom with lots of fun toys and a great prize box for the kids.
"When I went for my appointment, I was very impressed," Kabelowsky says. "The hygienist was very good and very gentle. Our 3-year-old daughter recently saw her for the first time, and they let our 8-year-old sit in the chair with her so she wouldn’t be afraid. I hated going to the dentist when I was a kid, but my children actually look forward to it. Overall, Dr. Pickart is awesome!”
A dental discount
Dr. Peter Tsiampas of Milwaukee scraped up savings for Diane Bashaw. “I was able to get an appointment within a week,” she says. “The receptionist was professional and courteous. The hygienist was thorough and did a great job. Dr. Tsiampas was pleasant and thorough.
"Since I do not have dental insurance at this time, I decided to try this clinic after receiving a flyer that offered an exam, X-rays and cleaning for $99," she says. " I was very happy I did! I had been charged almost $400 for the exact same services at another clinic approximately six months prior.”
A matter of trust
Ziolkowski Dental of Milwaukee made Griffith Watson feel at ease. “I just moved to Milwaukee and my wife and I were looking for a new dentist,” he says. “We have both had bad experiences before with moving and finding someone we could trust, but Dr. Keith Ziolkowski is great. He is conservative enough to make you feel comfortable, but also provides plenty of information for each question you ask.
"I had a consultation and exam with him and also had him fill three cavities," he says. "My wife also had similar work done. We are big fans, and we will make him our dentist as long as we are in Milwaukee.”
About Posts of Happiness
At Angie’s List, we regularly hear from members who are ecstatic about outstanding service received from the companies they’ve hired. We think such great service deserves recognition, which is why we feature Posts of Happiness.
We ask our members for nominations when they rate companies with A's in every category. To qualify, a review must be at least 500 characters about a company's actual work (not just an estimate) and members need to assure us that they'd hire again.
After a nomination, our staff selects the most outstanding stories to feature. If we choose your nomination, your review will appear in our monthly magazine and even right here on our website.
