These Indianapolis dentists provide welcome experiences
Whether you live north in Nora or south in Southport, you’re looking for great service, especially regarding your family’s dental care.
Here’s the latest Post of Happiness for great service from Indianapolis dentists as selected by the Angie’s List Newsroom staff.
A warm welcome
Sauer Dentistry of Center Grove welcomed new patient, Barbara Barger. “I went in for X-rays and a general cleaning,” Barger says. “I was given a complete tour of the facility and met all the staff, including Dr. [Aaron] Sauer. The equipment is the very latest, and it was amazing how efficiently it was all used. The office is clean, and the support staff couldn’t be more helpful.
"The hygienist was thorough and provided me with valuable information about the care of my teeth," she says. "Dr. Sauer was positive and professional. He did a thorough job of checking my teeth, tongue and jaw. It was gratifying to see them take their time with me, as though I was their only patient! I purchased an air floss machine, which I absolutely love. On my way out, I was given a bag full of neat goodies, which I hadn’t expected. It was an excellent visit.”
'The best experience possible'
James Castek’s nerves were assuaged by Paradox Dental Center. “I was a little uneasy about going to the dentist because I had not been in almost two years,” he says. “Dr. [Robin] Thoman and the entire staff made me feel at ease immediately. It’s clear that everyone involved with this practice is dedicated to helping you have the best experience possible.
"This was the most thorough dentist appointment I have ever had and I feel very comfortable trusting Dr. Thoman and his staff with my dental health,” he says.
Two crowns, hold the nitrous
David LaFon survived without the gas during a recent visit to Green Street Dental. “I had to have two crowns put on,” he says. “Normally I must have nitrous to relax me. Guess what? The nitrous machine was out for repair, and they told me I should be fine. Guess what? I was. It was the first time in my life having major dental work without nitrous.
"Listen, if you need a great, friendly dentist, go here," he says. "I absolutely hate going to the dentist, and have had some really bad dentists in the past, but Green Street is awesome!”
New home, new dentist
Overdue for a checkup, Lyneen Burrow discovered Downtown Dental Group. “I had trouble finding a dentist since moving into my new home,” she says. “I loved the atmosphere of the office. It was clean and has a great view of downtown Indy! I loved the staff: They were all so friendly. They took great care of me, explained everything, and were very gentle.
"I had to return to have a cavity filled, and it was as good of an experience as I could’ve imagined," Burrow says. "They were also really great with my kids. Dr. [Lora] Crow and staff are fabulous! I’m so glad to have finally found a dental home.”
About Posts of Happiness
At Angie’s List, we regularly hear from members who are ecstatic about outstanding service received from the companies they’ve hired. We think such great service deserves recognition, which is why we feature Posts of Happiness.
We ask our members for nominations when they rate companies with A's in every category. To qualify, a review must be at least 500 characters about a company's actual work (not just an estimate) and members need to assure us that they'd hire again.
After a nomination, our staff selects the most outstanding stories to feature. If we choose your nomination, your review will appear in our monthly magazine and even right here on our website.
