These Houston dentists pay careful attention to teeth
Here’s the latest Post of Happiness for great service from Houston dentists as selected by the Angie’s List Newsroom staff.
A massage while cleaning teeth
Spring Creek Dentistry of Spring, Texas brushed away Michael Yost’s dental fears. “When I was taken back for my cleaning, the dental hygienist was extremely polite and made every effort to make me comfortable, including turning on the massage rollers in the chair,” he says. “That killed two birds with one stone by easing my tension about being at the dentist and helping my bad back.
"When Dr. Oakley came in, he immediately made me feel at ease, and I knew I was going to be in good hands," he says. "I would highly recommend Spring Creek Dentistry.”
Avoiding a root canal
Mark Braun says Dr. Robert Maaskant of Sugar Land, Texas pulled off the impossible. “I lost half a tooth, and he was able to fix it without a root canal,” he says. “His excellent skill saved me about $1,500. I thought I was a goner when I lost the major filling.
"He is a thoroughly professional dentist who helped me out in a jam, and he has the best office staff in the world," he says. "I believe Dr. Maaskant is the most compassionate dentist I have ever encountered.”
No, it's not a resort
William Bettega gives The Hill Dental Group of Spring, Texas Hill Dental the highest praise. “The dentist, assistant and hygienist took their time and explained everything to me as they examined my teeth,” he says. “They were very thorough and never rushed. Everyone made a great effort to make sure I was taken care of.
"I had to remind myself I was at the dentist and not a resort," he says. "The office is spacious, and the equipment is modern. I would recommend this dentist group to anyone looking.”
Kelli Walter is all smiles, thanks to Craig Armstrong, DDS of Houston. “Dr. Armstrong and his staff are the best,” she says. “Everyone’s so cheerful, and they do a great job cleaning your teeth.
"My husband has mild TMJ and had been getting headaches for almost a year prior to finding Dr. Armstrong when we moved to Houston," she says. "Dr. Armstrong gave him many options to choose from based on cost and effectiveness, and the solution we went with ended up working great for my husband!”
About Posts of Happiness
At Angie’s List, we regularly hear from members who are ecstatic about outstanding service received from the companies they’ve hired. We think such great service deserves recognition, which is why we feature Posts of Happiness.
We ask our members for nominations when they rate companies with A's in every category. To qualify, a review must be at least 500 characters about a company's actual work (not just an estimate) and members need to assure us that they'd hire again.
After a nomination, our staff selects the most outstanding stories to feature. If we choose your nomination, your review will appear in our monthly magazine and even right here on our website.
