These Cincinnati plumbers go beyond the call of duty
Whether you live in Mason, West Chester or across the river in Covington, as a Queen City homeowner, you’re looking for great service, especially with your plumbing needs and emergencies.
Here’s the latest Post of Happiness for great service from Cincinnati plumbers as selected by the Angie’s List Newsroom staff.
Troubles down the drain
Millennium Plumbing of Middletown, Ohio updated parts of Claudine Disher’s plumbing system. “Millennium Plumbing diagnosed a leak from my upstairs bathroom into my downstairs hallway and replaced the bathtub drain,” Disher says. “They answered my call immediately and listened to the description of the problem. When they arrived, they diagnosed the problem, gave me an estimate and immediately started on the repairs.
"After a trip out for parts, they completed the repair in a very quick fashion," Disher says. "I was impressed with their fast and very reasonably priced service.”
After-hours pipe burst
B & D Plumbing of Cincinnati quickly repaired Andrea Biordi’s burst pipe. “Due to very cold temperatures earlier, pipes were bursting all over the city,” she says. “Of course, emergencies always flare up after hours! I called at about 9:30 pm. Even though they had been out working on other jobs since before dawn, they arrived shortly thereafter and quickly found the break. They had it repaired in about 35 minutes.
"I hope I never require their services again," Biordi says, "but if I do, I will not hesitate to call B & D Plumbing!”
Extra shoveling service
Southwest Plumbing of Hamilton, Ohio went above the call of duty for Jessi Hamersky. “They installed a special-order gas water heater and removed the old one,” Hamersky says. “They special ordered a water heater for me and before installation, realized that it had been damaged. They kept me in the loop on the return and reorder status and were able to complete my installation about a week later. They even shoveled half of my driveway during a snowstorm on installation day!”
A surprise before
D & P Plumbing of Batavia, Ohio cleared up Michelle White’s pipes. “I called D & P Plumbing because all my drains were running slowly,” she says. “He came upon some unexpected problems but went out of his way to fix them because he knew I was having a birthday party for my daughter the next day and that it had to be fixed. They did such a good job that I didn’t mind paying the bill!”
About Posts of Happiness
At Angie’s List, we regularly hear from members who are ecstatic about outstanding service received from the companies they’ve hired. We think such great service deserves recognition, which is why we feature Posts of Happiness.
We ask our members for nominations when they rate companies with A's in every category. To qualify, a review must be at least 500 characters about a company's actual work (not just an estimate) and members need to assure us that they'd hire again.
After a nomination, our staff selects the most outstanding stories to feature. If we choose your nomination, your review will appear in our monthly magazine and even right here on our website.
