Tarzana door contractor unlocks patio screen issue
I hired Approved Contractor Inc. of Tarzana, Calif., to install a patio door and window. Justin took the order. John verified the measurements and oversaw the installation.
When John and his assistant came to install the patio door and window, they were late and after they installed the window and patior door I had to ask themto clean them . Later, I realized there was no outside lock on the patio door, which is our main entry. I called Justin, who immediately ordered a new handle with a lock, but when John came to install it a month later, it was the wrong color and size.
He said Justin needed to contact, the manufacturer, but forgot to tell him. When Justin finally arranged for a service man from the manufacturer to come out, he said Justin ordered the wrong door and lock and that the door was difficult to open because the track was installed upside down. He fixed it so it runs smoothly. Unfortunately, the screen door sticks.
I want the correct style of patio door and a screen door that does not stick.

Have a complaint?
Our Angie’s List complaint resolution team attempts to resolve disputes between members and service providers. During this process, three outcomes can happen: Penalty Box, Resolved or Stalemate. Companies that don’t respond to a member’s complaint will be placed in the Penalty Box until they respond. A case becomes Resolved if a company addresses the complaint to the member’s satisfaction, or it becomes a Stalemate if the provider responds, but the company and the member can’t reach an agreement.
