Tampa HVAC, auto repair companies praised for good work
Stephanie Cerny appreciated Richard De Blasio's honesty. "I was convinced I needed a new ball joint, which would have cost close to $400, but he told me I needed a much less expensive job," Cerny says. "His honesty and integrity really shined where others might have taken full advantage of the situation. They even gave me a ride home."
Marlin James reeled in a longtime customer in Therese Gamble when they replaced her A/C system and hot water heater. "Their customer service and responsiveness has been extraordinary," she says. "When problems arose with the actual product, they worked tirelessly and pleasantly to make everything right. Air conditioning in Florida is a big issue, and you need the most reliable team working for you."
Kyle Kays liked how owner Tom Hyatt paid attention to his particular worries when installing hurricane film. "While other companies tried to sell me hurricane film for all my windows, Tom understood my concern about the triple sliders being the most vulnerable area, from both a storm and a security perspective," Kays says. "He explained that the other windows were already certified for high winds and suggested we may only want to tint them for sun protection. The installation went smoothly, and I'm happy with the result.
When Norman Liebman's 17-year-old A/C system broke down in the hottest part of summer, Dunedin came to the rescue. "They moved me up on their full schedule," Liebman says. "Their installers worked in a superheated attic and out in the sun, and they got the job done efficiently and thoroughly.
Deborah Rouchon says her house is cleaner now than when they arrived to reface her cabinets, install new cabinets, expand a cabinet drawer and install a countertop. "They protected my counters and floors, and completely cleaned up every day they were here," she says. "They installed the granite better than the granite people!"
When Lafayette Miller experienced problems with a home wireless network and Internet access, Sheldon Livingston came to the rescue. "He was soft-spoken and patiently waited until I explained my problem, and then he knew what to do and did it," Miller says. "He also respects your own knowledge, and doesn't waste your time and money."
Several months after Cockney fixed a roof leak, Mary Pat Pitchford noticed a wet spot in the same area and called for help. "They not only remembered the area in question, they went right back, identified the problem and repaired the roof in the time it took me to put away my garden tools," Pitchford says. "They didn't charge for this repair. If I ever need a roof replacement, I'll definitely call them back."
Darren Farris turned to Ampro to rebuild his house when termites damaged portions of the home. "They were outstanding in every aspect," Farris says. "When even the building inspectors say, 'These guys do beautiful work,' I feel pretty good about what's being done.
