Tampa Bay pool repair goes swimmingly
Before he hired highly rated Larsen’s Pool & Spa of Tampa to redo his pool deck, Seffren member Howard Shirley considered giving his pool a makeover for about a year. He was unhappy with its plain, unfinished look. The pool also had a broken ladder, a non-working light, and various deck cracks and stains.
After searching through reviews of pool companies on Angie’s List and obtaining quotes from a few different companies, Shirley hired Larsen’s to do the job.
“They had the best knowledge,” Shirley says. “The salesman looked at the pool, and I was confident he knew what he was talking about. He didn’t give me any smoke and mirrors. He listened closely and answered my questions.”
Shirley says that Larsen’s was not the cheapest bid he received — actually, it was the most expensive — but he is happy he paid the higher price.
He says the project went seamlessly, exactly as Larsen’s said it would. Even though there was a lot of dust around the work area because Shirley decided on a travertine tile for the pool deck, he says the Larsen’s crew cleaned up every day when they finished work and were very conscious of taking care of the area surrounding the pool.
Shirley says the finished project is beautiful and that the work is currently standing the test of time.
Shirley would not change a thing about his pool now. He loves its new look. “I am extremely happy with my new pool,” they say. “I call it that because it has little resemblance to the pool Larsen’s began with.”
