Tampa Bay consumer says provider didn't get permits needed to install skylights
I hired The Skylighters of Brandon, Fla., to install four tubular lights. The installation went smooth and we’re pleased with the results, but we later learned the company needed permits to do the work. We talked with Todd [Inganamort], who said he’d be out of town for a couple of months and that he has to register with Sarasota County before he can apply for the permits. He promised to get the permits when he returned, but has not. I want the company to get and pay for the permits.

Have a complaint?
Our Angie’s List complaint resolution team attempts to resolve disputes between members and service providers. During this process, three outcomes can happen: Penalty Box, Resolved or Stalemate. Companies that don’t respond to a member’s complaint will be placed in the Penalty Box until they respond. A case becomes Resolved if a company addresses the complaint to the member’s satisfaction, or it becomes a Stalemate if the provider responds, but the company and the member can’t reach an agreement.
