Striving for excellence ... one story at a time
This scrappy little magazine brought home 24 awards last year - raising the bar for 2010.
We can't help it if we're passionate about Angie's List Magazine. Naturally, we're delighted whenever we hear that others feel the same way.
That's why we're proud to share that this scrappy little publication won 24 editorial and design awards last year, earning recognition from the Association for Women in Communications, Society of Professional Journalists, Graphic Design USA, Summit International Awards and International Academy of the Visual Arts.
You may remember some of the 2008 stories and columns behind these awards, such as "The immigration situation" and "New homes go green." A collection of Angie's columns and a story about an Indiana program pairing prisoners and problem pooches snagged two Clarion Awards from the AWC, putting us in good company with other winners like Newsweek, BusinessWeek and The Wall Street Journal. You can read these articles at magazine.angieslist.com.
Of course, we strive for excellence in every story. But the biggest prize is hearing that one of our stories helped you in some way. Keep the feedback coming!
