Stone steps, rock flower bed garner Austin praise

Elayne Crain says her home's new look rocks.

"They removed cinder blocks around an old flower bed and replaced them with limestone blocks," Crain says. "They also created another bed and a limestone stepping area."

The project exceeded her expectations.

"The terrific-looking limestone flower beds have already garnered many compliments," she says.

The Portland family wanted to add some unique outdoor elements to their new home. So they hired Matt Goddard of Poetry in Stone to install a path and a backyard seating area with a sunken fire pit.
