Stamped concrete adds style to Baltimore home
Member Grace Chan from Ellicott City, Md., recently hired All Ready Finished of Pasadena, Md., to complete a concrete project. Some of the work included adding a stamped overlay onto the porch, replacing the walkway and sealing the porch and walkway.
Here’s what Chan had to say about her experience:
“Stephen Benson, the owner of All Ready Finished, provided the last of the four quotes. The other quotes were all over the map, including one to demolish and replace the entire porch and walkway for $7,200. Stephen’s more reasonable approach was to do only what was necessary since the porch pad was in good shape.
We signed the contract and scheduled work for two days later. The walkway was removed, and the forms were quickly set for the concrete pour. The next day, the concrete was poured and stamped. A few days later, the forms were removed, the concrete was acid washed and sealed, and the job site carefully cleaned up. Stephen even brought a few bags of dirt to fill in around the walkway.
The porch and walkway turned out beautifully. Stephen supervised the work and performed much of it himself. He answered all my questions, was easy to work with, and was always prompt on returning phone calls. His workmanship is excellent, as is his work ethic. I would not hesitate to hire him again.”
