St. Louis-area vet provides emergency care for terrier
Member Teresa Benoist of St. Charles, Mo., recently took her dog to the highly rated Harvest Plaza Animal Hospital to provide emergency care.
Here’s what she had to say about the experience: "My male silky terrier, Charley, was next door at the groomer’s and had a seizure as soon as we arrived. We scooped him up and took him to Harvest Plaza Animal Hospital. They had never even met us before, but treated Charley for a grand mal seizure. As soon as we walked through that front door, the manager saw my dog in distress and jumped up from her chair and came around to lead us to a room. Dr. Frank was in that room with medication within less than 30 seconds. She was treating Charley and taking a medical history all at the same time. He was hospitalized for a half-day, and they advised me to let him rest for the day. The staff is outstanding, and the doctors are knowledgeable, patient and kind. I am so grateful to all of them."
Benoist says she recently took her terrier mix, Emme, to her first vet appointment at Harvest Plaza Animal Hospital and had an equally great experience.
