Should I have a swimming pool installed in my backyard?

"Once you make the decision to [install a pool], you might as well go ahead and construct it. If you put it in in the fall, you get to use it all spring. I think the sooner, the better." - Bill Lambert, Perma Pools

For many of us, summer brings back childhood memories of fun at the swimming pool. What better way to kick off the summer of 2014 than by adding a new swimming pool to your backyard?

If it’s something you’re considering, you likely know that there’s a lot to think about: What size of pool is right for your home? What materials should you use? How do you go about hiring someone to install it?
