San Antonio homeowner says HVAC company won’t file paperwork
I hired On Time Elmer in San Antonio to install a new air conditioning unit. The previous unit was already old when a different company installed it, and it quickly became defective. Since I needed the new air conditioner immediately, I paid the cost out of pocket.
I wanted to submit a claim to my insurance company to be reimbursed, but they needed some information from On Time Elmer to process it. The company promised to send someone out, and they finally did after three months. But the insurance company was unable to contact On Time Elmer to get some additional information. It’s now been sixth months since the initial report. As a result, I still haven’t received that $7,000.
I want them to submit the additional information, so I can be reimbursed.

Have a complaint?
Our Angie’s List complaint resolution team attempts to resolve disputes between members and service providers. During this process, three outcomes can happen: Penalty Box, Resolved or Stalemate. Companies that don’t respond to a member’s complaint will be placed in the Penalty Box until they respond. A case becomes Resolved if a company addresses the complaint to the member’s satisfaction, or it becomes a Stalemate if the provider responds, but the company and the member can’t reach an agreement.
