San Antonio cleaner takes money, but performs no work on rugs
I hired Flores Commercial Cleaning Services of San Antonio to install, seam, stretch and kick four rugs. Joshua Flores did arrive on time. He quoted my wife $350 on the phone, and he tried to increase it to $400, but told us if the office quoted $350, then that’s what he’d charge.
We paid him upfront. He had some sort of contract with insurance and bond numbers on it, but no company name or phone number.
With all of that aside, my wife and I went back to getting anything else out of the way when we noticed Joshua Flores was gone! No crew. No, “I’ll be right back.” Nothing, just gone. We waited all afternoon for him to answer his phone with no results. We texted him, and he texted back that he’s in a meeting and the crew will be out at 8:30 a.m. the next day.
They never arrived, but texted he was on his way. He then texted that said he’d send us a check. The texting went on for days, and three texts say that he mailed me a check, and a voice mail also states that there’s a check coming, but it never arrived. He also gave us a $100 gift card, but when we checked the balance, it only had $7.90 on it.
Now I was mad. I’ve never had anything stolen from me. I ended up repairing the rugs myself. I want a $350 refund.

Have a complaint?
Our Angie’s List complaint resolution team attempts to resolve disputes between members and service providers. During this process, three outcomes can happen: Penalty Box, Resolved or Stalemate. Companies that don’t respond to a member’s complaint will be placed in the Penalty Box until they respond. A case becomes Resolved if a company addresses the complaint to the member’s satisfaction, or it becomes a Stalemate if the provider responds, but the company and the member can’t reach an agreement.
