Salt Lake City house cleaning company refunds payment after messy situation
I hired 2 Local Gals Housekeeping of Salt Lake City to clean my rental home every two weeks. They sent two girls to clean my home. One was cleaning the master bathroom one day and yelled, “ewww gross!” twice. My nannies and I heard her yell it and it was extremely embarrassing.
I immediately called and asked that this team be replaced. Two more women were sent and they did a terrible job cleaning. The next week when I called, I asked for another cleaning team and they could not make it out. I would never use this service again. I want a professional team to do the job right without yelling offensive language or a refund of $171.

The member either wanted our company to clean her house for free or she wanted her money back. I called and told her we could have a team out there in the next day, but she said she changed her mind and didn’t want us to return. I attempted to call her and left a message saying I was willing to do whatever it took to get this resolved, but I didn’t get a response.

Editor’s Note: 2 Local Gals Housekeeping provided the requested refund of $171 to the member.
Have a complaint?
Our Angie’s List complaint resolution team attempts to resolve disputes between members and service providers. During this process, three outcomes can happen: Penalty Box, Resolved or Stalemate. Companies that don’t respond to a member’s complaint will be placed in the Penalty Box until they respond. A case becomes Resolved if a company addresses the complaint to the member’s satisfaction, or it becomes a Stalemate if the provider responds, but the company and the member can’t reach an agreement.
