Salt Lake City-area concrete company completes driveway repair
When her 30-year-old driveway needed replaced, Sandy, Utah, member Marinette Wagner and her husband, David Misslin, opted for a stamped, colored border. “We wanted a border to emphasize the pleasant and inviting curve of the driveway,” Wagner says.
Wagner says snowplowing in winter became increasingly difficult, as the shovel would catch on the rough edges of the driveway. She says she couldn’t stand the sight of it anymore and decided it was time for a change. Wagner and her husband hired highly rated McMillan Concrete Construction of South Jordan, Utah, to complete their parking project based on their Angie’s List rating.
Wagner says they reached out to another company for an interview by phone and email, but never heard back. She says McMillan kept her informed on the daily projects and completed the work quickly. She says the work went exactly as promised and she didn’t experience any problems during the process.
Wagner and her husband decided what the layout of the driveway should be, and relied on McMillan Concrete for suggestions on color. “We picked a color that would complement the house,” Wagner says. “It was a fast and easy decision.”
Wagner says she’s received plenty of compliments from neighbors and friends on the driveway, which is beveled where it meets the street. “We are very proud of our new driveway,” she says. “It looks great.”
