Safety Harbor cable company accused of overbilling
COMPLAINT: Thomas Schaefer, Palm Harbor, Fla.
"I have FIOS television service through Verizon FIOS of Safety Harbor, Fla. I'm pleased beyond words with the quality of the service, but not their billing.
"I checked my bill and saw that they've been charging for "inside wire maintenance" since I started with FIOS. I never requested this service, as I maintain this myself.
"I contacted customer service and asked for a refund going back to when I started. A supervisor said she couldn't request a refund beyond three months because the audit department wouldn't allow it."
DESIRED RESOLUTION: "I would like to be refunded the inside wire maintenance charge for my first three months - $14.97 per month plus tax."
