Remodeling Company Updates Entire Home Before Owners Move In

When San Jose, California, Angie’s List member Arun Z. purchased his home, he wanted to update the style and increase the functionality of the 35-year-old structure. According to his Page of Happiness-nominated review, highly rated America’s Dream HomeWorks of Sacramento, California, remodeled the home before he and his wife moved. “All this had to be achieved while we were living in Sacramento,” Arun says. “[That] meant we needed a remodeling company that didn’t need constant monitoring!”

Once he had an idea of what he wanted, Arun says he approached several remodeling companies. He says he kept running into the same issue: The remodelers all had a specialty, whether it was kitchens, bathrooms or another area. “This meant we would need to interact with too many people, need closer supervision and the costs were higher,” Arun says.

Arun says he found the company he hired on Angie’s List. He hired America’s Dream HomeWorks to do all the work based on their reviews and initial meeting. He says they had a brochure that highlighted details about the company, some of their past projects and showed all their certifications. “They provided a list of projects of similar scope that they had completed,” Arun says. “They offered to [provide] a review of any of those.”

The job, which cost $135,000, included remodels of the kitchen, master bedroom and master bathroom. The project also covered painting, flooring, new doors and windows. “America’s Dream HomeWorks is a company of professionals that gives you the best advice on your home renovation goals,” Arun says.
