Range repair kit incomplete, Milwaukee customer says
COMPLAINT: Archie Corrigan, Milwaukee
I purchased parts for a gas range thermostat control from Sundberg Co. There were some parts missing from the box they gave me. I had to make two trips back to the shop and I wasn't able to get anywhere with them. They should be responsible for selling an incomplete part they purchased from someone else instead of blaming me.
DESIRED RESOLUTION: I want them to either provide special mounting hardware or replace the incomplete unit.
RESPONSE: Kenneth C. O'Neill Jr., branch manager, Sundberg Co.
This was a replacement part kit for an obsolete item that differed in appearance from the original. Due to the age of the range and complexity of the part, it took several attempts to secure a proper replacement.
We had the parts shipped from out-of-state sources, absorbing the freight costs ourselves.
